1. Background

UWS Nepal is a pioneering organization dedicated to revolutionizing education in Nepal’s most remote and climate-vulnerable communities. We go beyond providing quality education-we build it from the ground up. From constructing earthquake-resistant schools and ensuring access to clean water and sanitation to delivering inclusive and quality education, we address every barrier to learning.

Our mission is to break geographical, cultural, and climate barriers, striving for Zero Education Poverty by empowering children to learn, thrive, and lead. Through local teachers, mothers’ groups, and partnerships with the local government, we ensure every child stays in school despite the barriers of remoteness, poverty, and adversity

We invite EOIs from eligible firms/suppliers for the supply and delivery of high-quality construction materials for our 2026 project phase.

2. Scope of Work

The vendor will be responsible for the supply and delivery of materials to project sites in districts such as Sankhuwasabha, Taplejung, Bhojpur, Gulmi, and Tanahun. 

Key construction material categories include:

• Construction Materials: Includes cement (OPC & PPC), steel rebars (8mm, 10mm, 12mm), binding wire, bricks (approx. 38,000+ units), plywood (various sizes), CGI sheets (different sizes and colors), Transparent sheet, roofing accessories, AAC Blocks, nails, ridge caps, MS plates, paint, and related items.
• Hardware Goods: Includes holdfasts, screw nails (various sizes), door and window hinges, tower bolts, handles, locks, hooks, ceiling nails, adhesives (Fevicol), and other fixing materials.
• Plumbing and Sanitary Items: Includes toilet pans, commode, hand spray, PVC and CPVC pipes and fittings, 3’’ HDPE Pipes, taps, valves, water tank (1000 liters), solvent glue, and other related accessories.

3. Location of Schools Construction Site

Note:

• UWS Nepal will construct 1 storied building with 9 to`11standard classrooms (17*14 sqft) in the above areas.
• Priority will be given to vendors from the local cluster to reduce transportation costs

4. Eligibility Criteria

• Valid Firm/Company Registration Certificate.
• VAT/PAN Registration and Tax Clearance Certificate last FY.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in supplying construction materials.
• Proven logistics /transportation capacity for remote district delivery.

5. Required Documents

• Cover Letter expressing interest.
• Firm Profile 
• Legal Documents (Registration, VAT/PAN, Tax Clearance last FY).
• Audited annual turnover figures for the most recent three (3) fiscal years.
• Annex I (UWS-Supplier Registration Form) and Annex II (COI Declaration form) of this Document

Note: This is an indicative quantity; final Quantity shall be announced during RFQ.
