For Hiring Consultants/Experts/Firms

The National Campaign for Education Nepal (NCE Nepal), a network of more than 508 organizations working for strengthening public education in Nepal, working for equitable, inclusive, quality, and lifelong learning opportunities for all in Nepal, invites Expression of Interest (EoI) from qualified and experienced consultants, experts, or firms to support different assignments related to education advocacy, research, and organizational strengthening.

Scope of Work / Key Areas

1. Capacity Building & Knowledge Development

• Training Module
• Documentation of advocacy best practices, experience
• GEDSI Strategy
• GA Tool

2. Research, Policy & Knowledge Products

• Development of knowledge products like policy briefs, position and advocacy papers and their dissemination
• Preparation of CSOs' Position on Different Education Issues and Advocacy Tools
• Review of Education Policies, plans, and budget from a gender and inclusive lens
• Research and monitoring of the Spotlight Report, VNR, and policy brief
• Comprehensive Assessment of Participation of Local CSOs

3. Accountability, Monitoring & Tools Development

• Development and sharing of Social Accountability Tools: use of Community Score Card, Education Tracker, training module, research tools, policy analysis

4. Training and Facilitation

• Facilitate training, workshops and policy forums

5. Advocacy & Communication

• Development of advocacy and communication materials

6. Translation of the Toolkit

• Translate “Budget and Policy Influencing Toolkit for Education Civil Society into Nepali language.

7. Research Brief of CSER

• Prepare a research brief of the CSER Report.

8. Budget Monitoring guideline

• Prepare a technical guideline for the monitoring of the local budget.

Submission Requirements

Interested applicants are requested to submit:

1. Expression of Interest (EoI) indicating the area(s) of interest

2. Technical Proposal including:

• Understanding of the assignment
• Proposed methodology/approach
• Relevant experience

4. Financial Proposal with detailed breakdown

5. Updated CV (for individuals) or organizational profile for firms if a consultant applies through it

6. PAN/VAT registration certificate

7. Samples of previous relevant work
