Karnali Integrated Rural Development and Research Centre (KIRDARC) Nepal is a leading non-governmental organization committed to promoting human rights, peace, democracy, good governance, social justice, and integrated rural development in Nepal. Established in 1999, KIRDARC Nepal is registered with the District Administration Office (DAO), Jumla, under the prevailing laws of Nepal and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council.

KIRDARC Nepal works to promote the holistic development of communities through human rights promotion, policy advocacy, education, health, WASH, food security and livelihoods, climate change adaptation, social inclusion, and community empowerment. Its mission is to build relationships and transform lives with dignity by educating, organizing, and mobilizing communities.

In this context, KIRDARC Nepal is seeking a qualified consultant or firm to conduct endline evaluation for the project “Building Resilient Communities in Himalayan Region of Karnali Province”. The project aims to reinforce adaptive capacity of vulnerable communities and to strengthen civil society organizations to combat the impact of climate and environmental crisis in Humla districts, Karnali Province. This review will assess both the quality, effectiveness, equity, and long-term performance of the project. 

The detailed scope of work, objectives, expected deliverables, required qualifications, and other terms and conditions are provided in the Terms of Reference (ToR).

Required Documents

Interested individual consultants/consultancy firms are requested to submit the following documents:

1. Updated CV(s) of the proposed consultant(s)/key personnel.
2. Brief Technical Proposal, including:
   • Understanding of the assignment.
   • Proposed methodology and approach.
   • Key activities and deliverables.
   • Tentative work plan and timeline; and
   • Evidence of relevant experience in similar assignments.
3. Detailed Financial Proposal, clearly indicating the proposed professional fees and other applicable costs, as relevant.
4. Copies of applicable legal and statutory documents, including:
   • PAN/VAT registration certificate.
   • Company/firm registration certificate and latest renewal.
   • Updated tax clearance certificate.
   • Other relevant registration/legal documents, as applicable.
5. Duly completed, signed, and stamped Terms of Reference (ToR), Supplier Due Deligience, and Self-Declaration Letter.
