Auction Notice for Sale of a Used Office Vehicle

Shangri-La Development Association (SDA) invites interested individuals/firms/companies to submit their sealed bids (offers) for the purchase of the following used official vehicle:

The vehicle will be available for inspection from 18 to 28 December 2025, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, except Saturdays, Sundays and Christmas Day (25th December) at Fulbari Marg, Khumaltar-15, Lalitpur.

Interested bidders (individuals/firms/companies) shall obtain the bidding form from the SDA Head Office, Khumaltar, Lalitpur.

The bid should be submitted on or before 28 December 2025 by 4:00 PM in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for Vehicle Auction”, addressed to:

The bids will be opened on 29-December-2025 at 1:00 PM at the SDA Head Office, in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. In the absence of a bidder or their representative, SDA shall proceed with the bid opening process.

SDA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Terms and Conditions

1. Only bids received within the specified closing date and time shall be considered for evaluation.
2. A bid security of NPR 5,000 should be submitted in cash. The bid security of unsuccessful bidders shall be refunded, while that of successful bidder shall be adjusted in the final price.
3. Bids shall be evaluated based on highest offered price.
4. All cost during ownership transfer process including road tax, insurance and other charges shall be borne by the selected bidder.
5. The highest bidder be invited to purchase the vehicles via email and phone. If s/he does not want to buy the vehicles in the given period, the second highest bidder will be invited to buy.
6. The vehicle shall remain the property of SDA until the proof of payment is presented as well as the necessary paperwork for the transfer of ownership is done.
7. Payment should be deposited in SDA’s bank account. Bank account detail will be communicated later to the successful bidder.
8. Vehicles should be removed from SDA premises within a week after completion of the procedure of transfer of ownership.
9. The vehicle is sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis, and SDA provides no warranty and guarantee of the vehicle.
10. SDA reserves the right to cancel or extend the auction period at any time.
11. Employees of SDA and their immediate family members (including spouse, parents, children, and siblings) are not eligible to participate in this auction.
