Animal Health Training and Consultancy Service (AHTCS)

Animal Health Training and Consultancy Service (AHTCS) was established in 2000 as a service-oriented, non-profit making non-governmental organization for improving the living standard of marginalized communities through partnership with national and international organization and agencies. It was started by Animal Health Improvement Program (AHIP) of Rural Development Centre (RDC) under the direction of United Mission to Nepal in 1981 to address the myriad of constraints faced by rural livestock raisers. It is registered in District Administration Office Kaski and affiliated with Social Welfare Council. It works for the benefit of its target communities in the areas of animal health, husbandry and equine welfare. It also addresses need-based livestock-mediated program diversification such as livelihood enhancement via agriculture practices.

1. Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Review of Current Government Policies related to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRM)

Animal Health Training and Consultancy Service (AHTCS), a service oriented, non-profit making national NGO officiated in Pokhara that works in the areas of animal health and management, equine welfare, influencing, community development, veterinary research, and training to poor, marginalized and needy farmers all over the country. The AHTCS invites application from the dynamic, qualified and highly motivated Nepali citizens/ firms for the review of current government policies related to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRM), with specific focus on the existing policies addressing working animal welfare.

The proposed EOI aims to:

  • Review and analyze current government DRM policies and frameworks.
  • Assess existing national policies, strategies, and legal provisions related to working animal welfare.
  • Identify policy and implementation gaps affecting working animals, particularly in disaster-prone contexts.
  • Support the revision and development of inclusive and resilient policies by aligning working animal welfare considerations with DRM frameworks.

This initiative will contribute to improving policy coherence, enhancing disaster preparedness and response, and ensuring the protection and welfare of working animals, which play a critical role in livelihoods and resilience.

Submission Deadline and Address

The complete technical and financial proposals and updated legal documents must be delivered by 5.00 PM, Jan 29, 2026. However, the organization reserves the right to close the call earlier if a sufficient number of qualified applications are received.

Note: AHTCS will provide the Ready to PDF format/JPG while confirming the purchase order.

Submission Deadline and Address

The complete Quote and updated legal document must be delivered by 5.00 PM, Jan 29, 2026. However, the organization reserves the right to close the call earlier if a sufficient number of qualified applications are received earlier this deadline.
