Details / requirements:
Solutions Consultant is looking for qualified enumerators and moderators with excellent rapport building skills for carrying our data collection across Nepal.
1. Enumerator (Quantitative Survey) – Multiple Positions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct household and individual surveys politely and professionally
- Ask questions exactly as instructed and record accurate data
- Coordinate with field supervisors and submit daily progress updates
- Collect informed consent and maintain respondent confidentiality
- Attend all required trainings, briefings, and follow all field protocols
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree completed in a relevant discipline (preferred)
- Prior experience with quantitative surveys and mobile data collection tools (Survey Solutions, ODK, Kobo, SurveyCTO) preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to interact respectfully with respondents
- Ability to work in a team and stay in rural field locations for extended periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
2. Moderator (Qualitative Research) – Multiple Positions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), In-Depth Interviews (IDIs), and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs)
- Create a comfortable and neutral environment for participants
- Ensure accurate and detailed note-taking and documentation
- Prepare field reports and coordinate closely with the research team
- Follow research protocols, ethical standards, and maintain confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree completed in a relevant field (preferred)
- Prior experience in qualitative research, FGD/KII facilitation, or social/development sector preferred
- Strong communication, facilitation, note-taking
- Ability to engage respectfully with diverse communities and rural populations
- Willingness to travel and work in field locations as required
- Strong sense of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism
