Consultant for Policy Review, Development and Five-Year Strategic Planning

Sonaha Bikash Samaj (SBS), Bardiya is a non-governmental organization working in the areas of biodiversity conservation, disaster risk reduction (DRR), education, health and sanitation, child protection, and sustainable livelihoods in Nepal. The organization aims to strengthen its institutional governance and strategic direction through policy revision and strategic planning.

SBS invites applications from qualified individual consultants or consulting firms to undertake the assignment of reviewing existing policies, developing new institutional policies, and preparing a Five-Year Strategic Plan along with a sustainability framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and revise existing organizational policies and procedures
• Develop new institutional policies where required
• Facilitate preparation of a Five-Year Strategic Plan
• Develop organizational sustainability and resource mobilization strategy

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Development Studies, Management, Law, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in policy development and strategic planning for NGOs or development organizations
• Proven experience in conservation, DRR, education, health or livelihood sectors will be an advantage
• Strong facilitation, analytical and report writing skills

Assignment Duration

The assignment will be completed within 10 working days from the date of contract signing.
