Communication Manager

With over 15 years of proven experience in integrated communication planning, production and management, Water Communication has collaborated with over 40+ social development sector's international and local clients on diversified assignment and projects, creating social impact through creative storytelling, powerful brands, and strategic communications. The agency has worked on various vertical including public health, environment, education, climate change, gender equality, agriculture, irrigation, tourism, market linkage and promotion. The assignment include communication planning, creative, design, production, digital, outreach, events and media outreach.

A. Communication Manager: 1

i. Qualifications and skills

• A university degree in communication, journalism, law, economics, political, social science, management, business studies or other related discipline, or equivalent experience of 10 years;
• Knowledge of information and communication strategies and their implementation; proven by 4 years’ experience in the communications field
• Excellent knowledge of English both orally and in writing
• Having good understanding of Nepalese political, economic and cultural values and realities

ii. General professional experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in public relations or business communication or in public diplomacy.
• 3 years’ experience of working and dealing with governmental, non-governmental and civil society institutions;
• 3 years’ experience in project and human resources management, including planning, budgeting, disbursement and progress monitoring;
• At least 5 assignments/working experience in Nepal or Asia
• Professional experience at the international organization / diplomatic missions is an added value 
• Proven skills based on 3 previous experiences in drafting ToRs, implementation methodology, reports or briefing paper of short-term services.
• 5 assignments that proves the network and strong collaboration with Nepalese Media/journalists.
