Bheri Environmental Excellence Group (BEE-Group) is an autonomous, independent, non-partisan, and non-governmental organization. It was established in 2000 AD, registered in District Administration Office, Banke, and affiliated to the Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu. BEE-Group has been doing collaborative advocacy for the protection and promotion of human rights, establishment of social justice, gender equality, and social inclusion and environmental conservation, and community development through the community empowerment and mobilization for meaningful participation and networking since its establishment in the Lumbini and Karnali Province of Nepal with building a trustworthy reputation.

BEE-Group in partnership with Médecins du Monde – France (MdM-France) is implementing a project "Supporting Occupational and Environmental Health Project in Banke" since 2021. The project has two working scopes; Healthy Waste Workers and Reduction of pesticide to ensure health of farmers. The project is implemented in Banke district. The objectives of the project are (1) Mitigate environmental factors affecting health of exposed vulnerable population of waste workers and urban population in Banke District (Nepalgunj) (2) Mitigate environmental factors affecting health of Chemical pesticide risk exposed farmers and general community in Nepal. (3) The capacity of health services is strengthened to offer a better preventative and curative response for people exposed to a harmful environment (Urban Slums & IWWs). Similarly, the project also works in increasing their recognition among the communities by the end of the project. Hence, BEE-Group is seeking for qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individuals for the project on following positions.

1. Position: Communication and Advocacy Officer (CAO) – One

Duty Station: Based at BEE-Group office, Banke and frequently visit to project area

Working Conditions:

• The position may require travel to project sites.
• Flexibility to work outside regular office hours as needed to meet deadlines and respond to urgent needs.
• All candidates must possess two wheeler driving license.
