CALL FOR PROPOSAL TO CONDUCT
EVALUATION OF UMN’S CORD PROJECT
United Mission to Nepal (UMN) has been serving the people of Nepal since 1954. UMN, with funding support from Inter-Act has been implementing “CORD – Children Oriented Resilient Development” project in Doti Cluster in partnership with a local partner, Centre for Equal Access Development (CEAD). This is an end-term evaluation covering the period January 2022 to December 2024 (36 months).
The proposed intervention ‘CORD’ is focused on building resilience in targeted communities enhancing human, social, economic, and political capital. The project aims to foster community ownership and work closely with local government to promote good governance.
Similarly, the project aims to contribute to enhancing the resilience capacities of children, youth and adults, including women, migrant workers, and small landholders.
This advertisement has been published to invite applications from registered consulting firms to conduct this evaluation. Details of the evaluation scope, objectives, timeline, methodologies and qualifications for the consultants have been provided in the Terms of Reference (ToR), which can be accessed at https://www.umn.org.np/consultancy/evaluation-cord/
All interested and experienced consulting firms who meet the requirements and qualifications are encouraged to apply. Application should include a letter of interest, technical proposal and financial proposal. Application must be submitted to UMN by 15 August 2024.
Short-listed candidates will be invited to an assessment process. We especially encourage applications from women and marginalised groups.
