1. Background:

Community Development Society (CDS) was established on 8th of Ashwin 2058 by a group of committed, dynamic and energetic youth engaged in the sector of community development and empowerment. With the aspiration of creating social justice and equality by eliminating existing socio- economic disparities, the organization envisions developing a self-reliant, healthy and equitable society. During the two-decade serving journey, dozens of the projects implemented and benefited thousands of needy people in a rural area of Ramechhap district. CDS is looking for an independent Audit Firm and invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible audit firms (“consultant”) to provide the auditing services for Vocational Training and Small Enterprise Project/21-08-CD NEP- year 2022 and compiled report of year 2021-22.

2. Required Experience & Qualification:

• The audit firm or company should have at least 5 years proven experience of conducting audit for the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) projects in Nepal.
• The auditor has to be an officially registered and approved chartered accountant.

3. Require Documents:

The audit firm requested to submit the following documents;

• A Covering letter (with expression of interest and declaration to submit detailed proposal).
• The Profile of the organizational 
• Certificates of firm registration, VAT registration and tax clearance of FY 2078/079
• The Details of similar experience and proposed team composition, designation and CVs of key team members
• The Documents to meet our desired minimum qualification.

4. Other Term & Condition

• Interested firm are required to submit their technical and financial proposal in separate closed envelops with officially stamped.
• Envelops should clearly marked “Quotation for Audit for CDS”.
• Consultants may associate with other consultants to enhance their qualifications.
• The Community Development Society reserves all the right to accept or reject one or all EOI proposals without assigning any reason whatsoever with its sole discretion.
• The auditor shall not have any other current association with the project holder (e.g., auditing other projects of the organization)
• Expression of interest shall be delivered manually to the Community Development Society (CDS), Central Office, Finance Department in Manthali, Ramechhap or Child Aid Network (CAN) Office, Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur during office hour before 13th October 2023.
• Detailed term of references (TOR)  for the EOI can be obtained from the email as per request.
