Call for Expression of Interest (EoI)

To Implement “Renewable Energy for Impact” (RE4I) project in Surkhet, Salyan, Jajarkot, Sindhupalchok, Banke, Kanchanpur & Nawalparasi East districts”.

Note: This Expression of Interest (EOI) is specifically published for additional Nawalparasi East district. Those who have submitted their EoIs responding to earlier EoI notice need not resubmit applications.

Renewable World (RW) is an International NGO headquartered in the UK, with country offices in Nepal and Kenya. At Renewable World we envision a sustainable and fairer world where clean energy is accessible to all - because with clean energy, both people and planet can thrive. By 2030, we aim to enable over 500,000 people living in poverty to transform their lives by improving their access to clean energy, empowering them to develop sustainable and resilient livelihoods, and mitigating the impact of climate change.

RW started work in Nepal from 2012 and RW implements projects in Nepal by signing General Agreement and Project Agreements according to the provisions of Social Welfare Council. Renewable World works in close collaboration with all levels of Nepal Government, and the Nepali NGOs are the project implementing partners of Renewable World in Nepal.

To expand our partnership for implementation of RE4I project, Renewable World is seeking to work with one district-based NGO in each district. The project activities are related to improving income, livelihood, health, conservation and DRR in hard-to-reach hilltop communities through clean energy and social behaviour change in Surkhet, Salyan, Jajarkot, Sindhupalchok, Banke, Kanchanpur & Nawalparasi East Districts.

Eligible district-based NGO should have at least 5 years’ proven experience of working in similar field in the district.

Interested NGOs are requested to submit the filled-up Expression of Interest Form and above-mentioned documents through email at jobs@renewable-world.org by 9 Feb 2026 with the subject line mentioning the application for Implementation for RE4I Project_ District (name).
