To Implement “Renewable Energy for Impact” (RE4I) project in Surkhet, Salyan, Jajarkot, Achham, Sindhupalchok and Gulmi Districts”.

Renewable World (RW) is an International NGO headquartered in the UK, with country offices in Nepal and Kenya. 

1.2 billion people are still living in poverty, inequality is rising, and the world is failing to decarbonise quickly enough to avoid climate disaster. The world’s poorest people contributed little to climate change, yet they are most impacted, and least able to adapt. This is not fair. And it is not sustainable.

RW envision a sustainable and fairer world where clean energy is accessible to all - because with clean energy, both people and planet can thrive. By 2030, RW aims to enable over 500,000 people living in poverty to transform their lives by improving their access to clean energy, empowering them to develop sustainable and resilient livelihoods, and mitigating the impact of climate change.

RW implement programmes and projects in Nepal in close collaboration, cooperation and coordination with the Social Welfare Council through a General Agreement and individual Project Agreements. National as well as local NGOs are the project implementing partners of Renewable World in Nepal (RWN).

RWN started work in Nepal from 2012 and has been working across the country supporting the provision of affordable renewable energy services to improve livelihoods, health, and education. 

In order to expand our partnership for implementation of RE4I project, Renewable World is seeking to work with one local NGO in each district. The project activities are related to improve income, livelihood, health, education and DRR in hard-to-reach hilltop communities through clean energy and social behaviour change in Surkhet, Salyan, Jajarkot, Achham, Sindhupalchok and Gulmi Districts. 

Eligible Organizations should have at least 5 years’ proven experience of working in similar field in the aforementioned district.

The application should include the followings:

• A copy of the constitution and /or by-laws of the organization.
• Copy of the registration/incorporation & renewal of the entity.
• Copies of the annual reports, including audit reports of the organization for the past two years.
• Organizational profile, governing board, and infrastructure facilities of the organization.

Expression of Interest Form and Terms of Reference can be obtained by sending email request to jobs@renewable-world.org. 

Interested NGOs are requested to submit the filled-up Expression of Interest Form and above-mentioned documents through email at jobs@renewable-world.org by 29.05.2024, with the subject line mentioning the application for Implementation for RE4I Project_ District (name).
