Mercy Corps currently works in 41 countries around the world improving the lives of 19 million people. The agency focuses on countries in transition, where countries are in the midst of – or recovering from – conflict, economic collapse, or disaster; Mercy Corps sees these crisis situations as moments of opportunity to go beyond traditional boundaries of relief and catalyze lasting change. Globally, Mercy Corps implements programs in a range of sectors, including: agriculture & food security; market development; emergency response; disaster risk reduction; climate change; health; conflict management; youth engagement; and, community mobilization/ governance.
Mercy Corps Nepal is establishing a Roster of Experts to expand our pool of technical consultants and specialists who can be engaged on an on-call basis to provide high-quality, timely support across a range of thematic and cross-cutting areas.
This roster aims to strengthen our capacity to respond to programmatic needs, donor opportunities, and strategic initiatives in a flexible and efficient manner.
Who Should Apply
We invite applications from independent consultants, technical specialists, and subject matter experts with proven experience in one or more of the thematic areas listed below.
Successful applicants will be included in Mercy Corps Nepal’s expert roster for up to two years, with opportunities for short-term assignments, technical support roles, research engagements, and proposal development work.
