Role Snapshot

You will own new-business pipeline for ANZ with a phone-first, outbound motion. Your focus is high-quality cold calling from our offshore team, rapid qualification, and converting interest into meetings/demos for the Sales team across Synex’s core offerings (Managed IT, Cloud, Cyber, Microsoft, PBX/telephony, Web/Digital, Training).

Key Responsibilities

  • High-volume cold calling into target accounts; engage decision-makers and articulate Synex’s value.

  • Prospecting & lead mining: build segmented lists and identify multi-threaded stakeholders.

  • Discovery & qualification: confirm fit, pain, urgency, and buying process

  • Meeting & demo setting: coordinate calendars; send invites/confirmations; drive show rates.

  • Pipeline hygiene: document all activity, notes, and next steps in the CRM with complete data.

  • Sequenced follow-ups: craft concise, value-led emails/messages to progress interest.

  • Territory campaigns: partner with Marketing on call blocks, cadences, and A/B tests.

  • Market feedback: report objections, win themes, and competitive insights to improve offers.

  • Cross-sell awareness: position multiple Synex lines (Managed IT/Cloud/Cyber, Microsoft, PBX, Web/Digital, Training & Recruitment) where relevant.

Qualifications

  • Success in BDM/SDR/Appointment Setter/Telemarketing/Lead Gen roles (B2B, phone-first).

  • Track record of exceeding meeting-set and pipeline targets.

  • Confident, credible phone presence; clear written communication for crisp follow-ups.

  • Tech-savvy: comfortable with CRM, dialers/VoIP, sales engagement tools, and calendars.

  • Organised multi-tasker with strong time management; coachable and metrics-driven.

  • Nice to have: experience selling Managed IT, Microsoft, cloud, cybersecurity, PBX/telephony, or digital services to SMBs.

Location & Hiring Note

  • This is an offshore, permanent remote role working to the Australia/Brisbane time zone.

  • Australian returnees (returning residents/expats) are strongly encouraged to apply and will be given priority in shortlisting.
