Back-end Developer
Overview
Naxa is looking for a backend developer for it's drone partner ANGELSWING (https://angelswing.io/landing), a Seoul-based startup, which provides drone data platform and monitoring service. Its interests lie in solving social problems by utilizing innovative technology such as drone, machine vision, cloud computing, etc. Angelswing is currently looking for a back-end developer who would like to join the team and work together to build 'drone data platform' for better usage of drone captured data.

Responsibilities
- Design and Implement microservice API components to support new/existing features
- Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant solutions in cloud-based architecture
- Refactor, optimize, enhance our product
- Collaborate with other software engineers, product designer, and product manager to develop an efficient solution
- Integrate image processing and machine learning components into data processing workflows
- Develop event-driven data workflow pipelines for a processing system
Basic Qualifications
- Solid foundational knowledge of computer engineering and intellectual curiosity to understand the business
- Able to prioritize work depending on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in either Ruby or Python
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL
- 3+ years of previous work experience
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Docker
- A self-directed learner who has quickly learned new programming languages
- Working knowledge of the general web application landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Familiarity with open source geospatial tools and imaging libraries, such as PostGIS, GDAL, OGR
