Handicap International-Nepal invites interested individuals, firms, or companies to submit sealed bids for the purchase of used office goods (furniture & fixtures, equipment, and assets) on an "as is, where is" basis. The items are available for inspection from 5 May to 7 May 2025, Monday to Wednesday, between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM at Handicap International's Kathmandu office.
Bid Submission Details:
- All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope no later than 08 May 2025, at 4:00 PM (Thursday) at the Handicap International Kathmandu Office.
- Interested bidders are required to complete the Auction Interest Form, which can be downloaded from the link below.

Auction Bid Opening:
The auction bids will be opened on Friday, 09 May 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Handicap International Kathmandu office. All bidders are encouraged to be present for the bid opening. If no bidders are present, the opening process will continue without them.
Conditions of the Auction:
1. Bid Submission: Interested buyers are required to submit their written offers using the Auction Interest Form. Handicap International has provided the purchase price and purchase date for each item, but there is no set minimum value for the goods. Bidders should determine their offer price after inspecting the items.
The sealed bid should be addressed to the Handicap International Kathmandu office with "BID for Office Goods" written on the envelope. All bids must be submitted by 08 May 2025, 4:00 PM.
2. Evaluation Criteria: Only bids submitted by the deadline will be considered.
3. Bid Categories: There are two categories of goods available for bidding:
- Category A: IT & Electronic Equipment
- Category B: Furniture & Fixtures
Bidders can submit a bid for at least one entire category or both.
4. Bidder Details: Bidders should include their name (individual, company, or firm) and contact information on the envelope.
5. Bid Evaluation: The auction will be awarded to the highest bid in each category.
6. Transport Costs: The successful bidder will bear all costs associated with transporting the goods.
7. Payment Confirmation: Goods will remain at the Handicap International Kathmandu office until the bidder has provided proof of payment and completed the necessary paperwork.
8. Payment Process: Payment for auctioned goods must be made via bank transfer, bank deposit voucher, or online transfer within 14 May 2025 from the selection date. Banking details will be provided to successful bidders.
9. Collection of Goods: After receiving written confirmation of payment, the Logistics department will arrange for the transfer of goods. The bidder must collect the goods from the HI office within 3 days of payment confirmation.
10. No Warranty: Handicap International Nepal does not offer any warranty or guarantee on the auctioned goods.
11. Auction Period Extension or Cancellation: Handicap International Nepal reserves the right to cancel or extend the auction period at any time.
12. Changes to Auction Date: If there are any changes to the bid opening date, Handicap International Nepal will notify all bidders who have submitted their hard copy bids.
13. Ineligible Participants: Members of the Handicap International Nepal auction committee are not eligible to participate in the auction.
