International Development Enterprises (IDE) Nepal, is an International NGO with market-based agriculture and WASH development program in Nepal. iDE has been working in Nepal since 1992. From irrigation and good quality seeds to, more recently, rural collection centers where farmers can sell their produce, we provide simple innovations that help rural communities get out of poverty and adapt to climate change. iDE is recruiting an Admin and HR Consultant for its Central Office, Lalitpur immediately. 

Position: Admin and HR Consultant

Major duties and responsibilities:

  1. Assisting with recruitment processes, such as posting job ads, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  2. Preparing, collecting verifying, and filing timesheets of staff
  3. Coordinating and scheduling employee training and development programs.
  4. Assisting with the onboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring new employees have the necessary equipment and resources.
  5. Maintaining accurate employee records and files, including employment contracts, personnel information, and benefits enrollment.
  6. Providing support with performance management, such as assisting with performance appraisals, tracking employee performance metrics, and compiling reports.
  7. Providing general administrative support to the HR department, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling meetings.
  8. Create and maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic, to ensure timely and accurate storage of records
  9. Ensure all documents are accurately labeled, dated, and stored in their appropriate location
  10. Retrieve documents as requested by staff members, and ensure they are returned to their correct location
  11. Perform routine audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records, and make any necessary corrections
  12. Process and file incoming documents and paperwork in a timely and organized manner
  13. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that records are organized and accessible to relevant staff members

Key Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience in the relevant field.
  • Computer skills including spreadsheets.
  • Good organizational skills
  • High degree of integrity and responsibility
  • Good spoken and written skills in both English and Nepali.
