Vacancy Announcement
The Yangri Valley, like many rural communities in Nepal, faced immense challenges after the devastating 2015 earthquakes. Many families, struggling to rebuild their lives, migrated to urban areas in search of better opportunities. However, the future of this valley relies on the education of its next generation, offering hope and sustainable livelihoods within the community.
To support this vision, Himalayan Life established the Yangri Academic Centre (YAC) in 2074 – a school committed to providing outstanding education through innovative teaching practices. YAC aims to foster an environment where both academically gifted and challenged students can thrive, and where teachers are passionate about nurturing the love of learning.
