Details / requirements:
NUTRITION PROMOTION AND CONSULTANCY SERVICE (NPCS), a national NGO working in nutrition, in partnership with USAID’s Knowledge-based Integrated Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition (KISAN) project, invites qualified Nepalese citizens to apply for the position of NUTRITION & HYGIENE OFFICER based in District Center in mid western and far western regions.
POST: NUTRITION AND HYGIENE OFFICER - 06
DUTY STATION: Kailali, Doti, Achham, Salyan, Rolpa and Pyuthan districts.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As part of the district team, lead and coordinate implementation of nutrition and WASH component of KISAN project including community mobilization and training, supervision of junior staff and volunteers, integration with agriculture activities, coordination with district authorities, and monitoring and evaluation activities.
QUALIFICATION:
- S/he has a bachelor’s degree in Public Health or similar field.
- Project management experience of minimum 2 years in a relevant technical area such as maternal and child health and nutrition, water/sanitation/hygiene, capacity building, etc.
- Good management, communication, team work and reporting skills are essential.
Salary and benefits will be provided according to program rules.
