Working for Access and Creation, Nepal (WAC- Nepal) Achham is Leading Organization in Far Western Development Region of Nepal. WAC Nepal is looking self-motivated, dedicated and a qualified candidate for the post of Education Officer to implement the SAHAYATRA project in the partnership with Save the Children and funded by NORAD.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Participates on on-going data collection, analysis and self-verification for project evaluation purposes;
- Support communication and dissemination of lessons learnt;
- Planning, logistics and coordination with SMC, PTA, CFLG, ECD, DEO, DDC, VDC and program unit and consultants/technical assistance visits as required.
- Facilitate different types of education related trainings.
- Regular coaching and monitoring such as ATL, positive parenting, reading camp, familiarize in new education act.
Your profile:
- Bachelor degree and or preferable to Master Degree in Education with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience with project management, M&E design and data collection and reporting required.
- Willingness to conduct frequent field trips and monitoring activities in rural and remote areas.
- Outstanding communication skills – written and spoken.
- Strong critical thinking.
- Experience in providing training preferred.
- Detail orientation and ability to work independently.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Sound knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
