JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc is seeking applications for the following position for the Chlorexidine Navi Care Program (CNCP), a three year project from Sept 2011 to Sept 2014. Following are the roles and responsibilities of the Assistant Field Officer (Field based position)

Coordinate with D(P)HO, field officer and other partners to implement program in the district

  at different levels (district to community)

Conduct technical support visits to program at health facility and Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) to strengthen program.

Visit and ensure supply, proper recording and reporting at health facility and FCHVs level

Coordinate with DPHO and other related partners at district-level to ensure adequate program monitoring and effective implementation

Prepare monthly field trip report and submit on time

Participate in CNC related program discussions in the district and center as per need.

Help D (P) HO and field officer to conduct review meeting and provide technical update to filed staffs, as needed through discussion with implementing partners

Perform any other work assigned by PM and CNC SMT

Qualifications/Experiences:

in Public Health or Bachelor in Nursing or Health Assistant or Staff Nurse with 3 years’ work experience in the relevant field

Interest to work in district and ability to travel to community level

Computer knowledge and skill on Microsoft office package

Familiar with government health system

Good written and spoken English and local language
