Vacancy Announcement – Two Years Internship Program

In Nepal,we are involved in several thematic areas with our work focusing on resilient livelihood and sustainable food security, active citizenship, and humanitarian response and DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction).
DanChurchAid (DCA) is looking for enthusiastic women candidates from disadvantaged and marginalized communitieskeen to build foundation for challenging and rewarding professional career in an international development environment through DCA’s Internship Program.
The selected women candidate will be offered a non- renewable internship contract for the positon of Program Associate for 2 years. This is Kathmandu based positon and need to travel project areas as per requirement
Programme Associate (Intern): 1
The position will work under the supervision and guidance from Head of Programme. She will support forediting and sharing project and programme reports,assist in programme development and execution, reviewing and compiling various programme related documents, and taking minutes of DCA events, andcoordinating with implementing partners. She will also be responsible to support and follow up DCA PPM process and maintain web based (Intranet) data management system.
Required qualifications and competencies:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (preference will be given to areas of Social and Environmental science, and management). Strong report writing and documentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Nepali, excellent in Excel-database management, good coordination and networking skill. Should be proactive, creative and have great learning attitude and dynamism. Good organizational and prioritizationproficiency skills, social media, and adequate knowledge on Microsoft office.
