Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment (VCA) and prepare hazard map

Namobuddha Municipality, Kavrepalanchok

Resource Management and Rural Empowerment Centre (REMREC), in partnership with CBM Global Disability Inclusion under the SAHAKARYA Project, invites qualified consultants/consulting firms to conduct a Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment (VCA) and prepare hazard, vulnerability, and capacity maps for all 11 wards of Namobuddha Municipality.

Key Tasks:

·         Facilitate participatory VCA in all 11 wards.

·         Prepare ward-level hazard, vulnerability, and capacity maps.

·         Compile findings and provide a comprehensive report with recommendations for inclusive disaster preparedness and resilience planning.

Qualifications:

·         Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Disaster Risk Management, Environmental Science, Development Studies, or related field (Master’s preferred).

·         Proven experience in VCA, hazard mapping, and inclusive DRR.

·         Strong facilitation and report-writing skills.

Duration: Short-term assignment (details in TOR).
Location: Namobuddha Municipality, Kavrepalanchok.
