Salary: Around NPR 60,000 – 70,000

Contract: 1 Year fixed-term with the possibility of extension
1. Job Summary
The Visa Team Leader will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the Korea Visa Application Center and ensuring that visa application services are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Visa Application Center.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead and support the visa application team, monitor the quality and accuracy of visa application processing, handle customer inquiries and complaints, coordinate with relevant stakeholders, and prepare operational reports and briefings.
The position requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, communication skills, leadership ability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and within strict deadlines.
2. Key Responsibilities
Team Management & Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the daily work of visa application staff.
- Allocate duties and manage staff schedules according to workload.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, training, and feedback.
- Handle operational issues and escalate matters to the management when necessary.
Visa Application Operations
- Supervise the reception, registration, data entry, document checking, and processing of visa applications.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of application data and supporting documents.
- Monitor application processing timelines and identify potential delays or errors.
Embassy & Stakeholder Communication
- Coordinate and communicate with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea regarding operational matters.
- Communicate with relevant government authorities and other stakeholders when required.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor application volumes, processing status, staff performance, and other operational statistics.
3. Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above from a recognized university.
- Candidates with relevant professional experience may also be considered.
Language Skills
- Korean: TOPIK Level 5 or above – REQUIRED
- English: Fluent in both written and spoken English – REQUIRED
- Ability to communicate professionally with Korean staff, the Embassy, applicants, and relevant stakeholders.
Professional Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare professional reports, briefing documents, and business correspondence.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Previous experience in visa processing, customer service, administration, operations, or team supervision is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Korean companies, Korean organizations, international organizations, diplomatic missions, or government-related institutions will be an advantage.
4. Working Hours & Contract Period
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30
- Lunch / Rest Break: 12:00–13:00
- Overtime work may be required depending on workload and operational requirements. Overtime will be paid in accordance with company policy.
- Contract Period: One-year fixed-term contract, including a three-month probationary period.
- The contract may be renewed annually based on work performance and organizational requirements.
