Virtual Teachers for Mathematics, Science, and English
Turnkey Development Group (TKD) invites applications for 3 Teacher positions for virtual distance teaching under the Scholarships, Education and Enterprise for Development SEED Project. Three teachers will be recruited one each for Mathematics, Science and English to support Grades 6 to 10 students in Helambu Bodhisattva Model School in Helambu Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchok.
SEED Project is implemented by TKD with financial support from International Foundation for Education and Entrepreneurship (IFFEE) Switzerland. The project aims to improve education and livelihood opportunities for young people in Helambu through higher-education scholarships, virtual learning support in Mathematics, Science and English for Grades 6-10, and a school-based agro-livestock enterprise that supports student nutrition, practical learning and local employment.

Main Responsibilities
- Teaching and preparation: Deliver punctual, interactive classes aligned with Nepal's curriculum and prepare clear lessons, exercises and assignments for Grades 6 to 10.
- Assessment and support: Assess learning, identify gaps, provide timely feedback and offer focused remedial support.
- Coordination and visits: Work with school subject teachers and join scheduled visits for practical learning, mentoring and follow-up.
- Records and conduct: Maintain accurate records, submit a short monthly report and follow safeguarding, confidentiality and professional conduct requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject
- Minimum three years of relevant teaching experience, preferably with Grades 6 to 10 or SEE preparation.
- Strong subject command, knowledge of Nepal's school curriculum and ability to use online platforms, smart boards and digital learning resources.
- Clear communication, mentoring and classroom management skills, with willingness to travel to Helambu for scheduled visits.
