VEHICLE AUCTION NOTICE

International Water Management Institute (IWMI) Nepal Office invites interested individuals, firms, and companies to submit their bids (offers) for the purchase of used IWMI official (duty-free/custom duty not paid) vehicles listed below. 

The vehicles are being sold on an “as is, where is” basis, and interested parties are encouraged to inspect the vehicles prior to submitting their bids.

Vehicle Details

Inspection Schedule:

Vehicles are available for inspection from 13-17 April between 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the parking premises of IWMI Nepal Office, Lalitpur-5, Manbhawan, Lalitpur.

Bid Submission Process:

• Interested bidders must submit their bids using the prescribed form (Annex 1) including copy of citizenship for individual bidder and firm/company registration certificate and tax clearance certificate of FY 081-82 for firm/company.
• Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for Vehicle Auction”.
• Submission deadline: 20th April 2026, before 5:00 PM.

Bid Opening:

Bids will be opened on 21st April 2026 at 2:00 PM at the IWMI office in the presence of bidders. In case bidders are not present, IWMI shall proceed with the bid opening process.

IWMI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reasons.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Offers must be submitted in sealed envelope using the template (Download), with “Bid for Vehicle Auction” mentioned on the envelope.

2. Bidders may submit bids for two vehicles or one vehicle.

3. A bid security deposit of NPR 10,000 for one vehicle, NPR 20,000 for two vehicles must be submitted in cash.

Note: Bid security deposit will be

• Refunded to unsuccessful bidders.
• Adjusted in the final price for the successful bidder.

4. Evaluation will be conducted on an individual vehicle basis, and each vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder.

5. All costs related to ownership transfer (custom duty, road tax, insurance, all other related charges) shall be borne by the selected bidder.

6. Only bids received within the deadline will be evaluated.

7. The highest bidder will be invited via email. If not responded within 3 days or declined, the second highest bidder will be invited.

8. Vehicles remain IWMI property until full payment and ownership transfer paperwork are completed.

9. Payment must be deposited in IWMI’s prescribed bank account (details to be shared with the successful bidder).

10. Vehicles must be removed from IWMI premises within one week after ownership transfer.

11. IWMI provides no warranty or guarantee for vehicles.

12. IWMI reserves the right to cancel, modify or extend the auction period at any time.
