The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Nepal working in the field of health and development in Nepal invites applicants for following positions for the project “Emergency Reproductive Health Services to Conflict Affected and Marginalized Population in two districts: Darchula and Baitadi , Far Western Region of Nepal”. Motivated and committed Nepalese with an interest and experience in related field are encouraged to apply. 1. VCT/RH Counselor- Two (One Male and One Female) The responsibilities of this position include: (a) ensuring Reproductive Health, VCT and SGBV Counseling service delivery at camp sites; (b) ensuring to maintain records and reports properly; (c) ensuring to maintain high level of confidentiality of pre-testing & post-testing records and counseling to the SGBV clients; (d) managing to educate people at the most high risk & establishing linkage and referral of clients with local NGO for rehabilitation and follow up; (e) ensuring a strong positive attitude towards the person with high risk behavior, person living HIV/AIDS and affected families, disadvantage women group and SGBV clients. • Employment: Service contract basis. • Competencies: CMA course with valid license from Nepal Health Professional Council; trained in RH/VCT counseling; minimum 2 years of working experience in youth mobilization and skills in VCT counseling; trained in psychosocial counseling is an advantage; good listener; coordination and communication skills with the people with high risk behavior, person living with HIV/AIDS and affected families. 2. Medicine Dispenser/CMA - One The responsibilities of this position include: (a) proper setting of dispensary room in camp setting; (b) maintaining medical inventory & ensuring for quality of medicine distribution to the patients; (c) timely recording & reporting for medical supplies; (d) ensuring to organize and conduct mobile RH and FP camps at the district; (e) providing counseling service to patients attending dispensary. • Employment: Service contract basis • Competencies: CMA course with valid license from Nepal Health Professional Council; minimum of 2 years work experience in RH mobile camps and experience is dispensing medicine; good interpersonal communication skill. 3. Public Health Educator - One The responsibilities of this position include: a) identifying and collecting related IEC materials including Audio/Visual Aids to organize health education in camp settings; b) setting and operating electronic audio visual equipments at camp sites; c) developing health education plan based on needs of the community; d) organizing formal/informal health education in camp setting; f) receiving feedback from clients/audience; g) contacting local street drama team and supporting to finalize the script; h) coordinating with local FM to air health massages; i) organizing health events in co-ordination with DHOs; j) maintaining records of each events and managing IEC corners. • Employment: Service contract basis. • Competencies: CMA or ANM course with valid license from Nepal Health Professional Council; at least 2 years working experience in the similar field, good facilitating skill, team oriented, female candidates are encouraged. 4. Office Assistant/CMA - One The responsibilities of this position include: (a) maintaining good relation with an excellent coordination and communication with partner hospital, patient, patient’s family member/attendant, project personnel and concerned stakeholders; (b) providing necessary counseling to the patient and to their family member/attendants; (c) proper documentation and reporting of patients with uterine prolapse; (d) ensuring efficient logistic and administrative management for patient. • Employment: Service contract basis • Competencies: CMA Course with valid license from Nepal Health Professional Council; HA is an advantage; minimum of 2 years work experiences in RH mobile camps; self starter/proactive and willing to work for long hour as required; good interpersonal communication skill. 5. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM ) - One The responsibilities of this position include: (a) assisting in organizing and conducting mobile RH camps at districts; (b) ensuring to provide all RH/FP counseling services with basic camp services delivery; (c) assisting doctor in RH service delivery; (d) assisting in preparing and managing instruments and materials for mobile camp. • Employment: Service contract basis. • Competencies: ANM Course with valid license from Nepal Nursing Council; minimum of 2 years work experiences in RH mobile camps; good interpersonal communication skill. Location: All positions mentioned above are mobile at least in ten VDCs of each project districts (Darchula and Baitadi).
