The organisation engaged in community development and humanitarian assistance sectors with the thematic area of WASH, Health, and Education promotion in the Terai region of Nepal. It works for the poor, vulnerable, marginalised, socially excluded communities, and institutions (Including children, women, youth, schools and health centres also) with the support of different funding agencies for meet encourage social and economic development and uphold the well-being and human rights of them.

Campaign Nepal for Research & Development (Campaign Nepal) is a non-political, secular, and non-profit organisation established in 2008, headquartered in Rautahat District. Campaign Nepal works primarily in the Terai region while extending its interventions nationwide. The organisation focuses on community development and humanitarian assistance in the areas of good governance, health, water and sanitation, education, livelihood promotion, and disaster risk reduction (DRR).
In partnership with national and international development actors, Campaign Nepal advances social and economic justice while safeguarding the rights and dignity of vulnerable and marginalised communities, including women, children, youth, and persons with disabilities.
Campaign Nepal is currently implementing the “Strengthening Civil Society for Inclusive Democracy and Human Rights (SAMA-SAMA Project)” in selected local governments of Madhesh Province:
- Sarlahi District: Dhankaul Rural Municipality and Hariwan Municipality
- Mahottari District: Manra Siswa Municipality and Ekdara Rural Municipality
- Dhanusha District: Laxminiya Rural Municipality and Chhireswarnath Municipality
We invite applications from qualified and motivated Nepali citizens for the following position:
1. Provincial Project Coordinator (PPC) – 1 Position
Duty Station: Gaur, Rautahat
Contract Type: Fixed Term, Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Lead provincial-level project planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Coordinate with provincial and local governments, CSOs, and communities to strengthen inclusive governance and democratic participation.
- Provide technical guidance to Civic Engagement Facilitators (CEFs) and women-led CSOs.
- Represent the project in stakeholder forums, advocacy campaigns, and public events.
- Document lessons learned, success stories, and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in project coordination/management in governance, gender equality, or human rights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage partnerships and build networks with government and civil society.
- Strong skills in planning, monitoring, reporting, and advocacy.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali.
