Progressive Youth Society (PYS) is a non-governmental, non-profitable and non-religious organization. It was registered under district administrative office Bajhang on March 29, 2004 according to social welfare act 2034, in Bajhang. Since then, PYS has been engaging in various components of community development through various project reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, People with disabilities, conflicts and disaster survivors from marginalized and underprivileged groups.
In partnership with various partner organizations, PYS is working in Bajhang district. Therefore, now PYS is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions for smooth implementation of project.

| 1 | DRR and Humanitarian Coordinator | - Master's degree in Environmental Science, DRR&M, Social Science or related field (Bachelor's with substantial relevant experience may be considered)
- Minimum 5 years working experience in managing multiple projects with diverse team
| - Demonstrated depth of experience and effectiveness preferably in an NGO context in working with community/grassroots people and organizations.
- Extensive experience and recognized expertise in models and methods of training, facilitation and capacity building, Project Management and organizational development for staffs, communities and government stakeholders. Able to conduct site reconnaissance and technical surveys to observe existing conditions and identify hazards and risk areas
- In-depth knowledge on DRR policies, VCA tools, Disaster Management Plan.
- Technical skills for capacity building of technical persons in government agencies, DRR training development and facilitation to local representatives.
- Knowledge of Local Development Planning Process and Vulnerability and Capacity Analysis (VCA).
- Conduct periodic staff performance appraisals against the set performance objectives contributing to programme deliverables with proper performance management system in place.
- Have a good technical knowledge and experience on sector, data and information management.
- At least 5 years of working experience in NGO sectors

| 2 | Finance Officer | - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (3 years' experience) or Master's degree (1 years' experience)
- At least 3 years of working experience in NGO sectors.
| - Previous work experience in an NGO environment and in basic HR functions/administration skills is an advantage.
- Strong computer literacy, and proven experience of computerized accounting packages and using Excel Spreadsheets (MS Office Package), Famas
- At least 3 years of experience in relevant field

| 3 | SCM & Procurement Officer | - Bachelor’s degree in business/management or other relevant field.
| - Ensure major / recurring procurements are under strategic sourcing initiative.
- Propose innovative solutions to increase efficacy through evidence-based analysis for consumption by financial and operational dimensions, including price, quality and service.
- Support in improving spending behavior, process, utilization, and optimize total throughput yield.
- Review and process Purchase Requisition (PR) in Supply Chain Automation and Integration (SCAI) platform/ authorized systems.
- At least 3 years of experience in relevant field.

| 4. | MEAL Officer | - Bachelor’s degree in social science or development studies in the relevant field
| - Support to update beneficiaries' information regularly in the online system to track all project beneficiaries
- Maintain project database including relevant documents and reports
- Collect and collate secondary data from various sources in working districts and municipalities for the purpose of assessments, baseline surveys, and evaluations, as per requirement.
- At least 2 years of experience working with I/NGO in the field of monitoring, evaluation, and accountability sector

| 5. | DRR and Humanitarian Field officers | - Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, DRR&M, Social Science or a related field.
| - Provide management to DRR project and monitor performance of project team in implementation of project ensuring projects are delivered on scope, on time and on budget as per the agreements.
- Understanding of legal documents on DRR&M, humanitarian structure, emergency response mechanisms, and humanitarian principles and standards
- Proficiency in oral and written communication in English and Nepali.
- In coordination with the Field Sector Lead, DRR relationships and engagement with government line agencies, other INGOs/NGOs, research institutions and private sector at local and district levels in alignment with project strategy/plan.
- Two years of experience in implementing DRR, humanitarian response-related programs.
