Rastriya Rojagar Prawardhan Kendra (RRPK) is a non-governmental, non-profit making social development organization, established in 2061 BS (2004 AD) by a team of active professionals with long experience in the field of integrated community development, specifically community organization, health and disability, HIV and AIDS, Community forestry, micro-finance, gender and empowerment, good governance, child rights, Inclusive Education in Nepal (SIKAI), Livelihood, Safe Migration, DRR and WASH. RRPK is registered under Society Registration Act, 2034, at the District Administration Office of Sarlahi. It is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC) Nepal and a member of NGOCC and Federation Sarlahi. RRPK started its social development programme in Sarlahi district since 2005.

RRPK is implementing “HATEMALO” for Child Wellbeing through different core project models and Integrated Program Framework (IPF) in Haripurwa Municipality and Parsa Rural Municipality in Sarlahi district of Madhesh Province, in partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVI Nepal). 1Market Coordinator-1
Bachelor's in Agriculture, Economics, or related fields at least three years of experience and Strong understanding of commercial market operations and systems.
  • Situation Analysis of Local Producers and Market Opportunities
  • Formation of Producer Groups and conduct training and to build capacity
  • Participatory Value Chain Analysis with Producers
  • Planning and Implementing M4C Interventions 
  • Link suppliers with buyers
  • Network and liaise with Local and Government, likeminded agencies and Business Groups.
  • Establish database of producers groups and monitoring and evaluation of M4C project initiatives 
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on project progress, communicating key findings to project team and stakeholders
  • Facilitate or assist the team in conducting responsive fact-finding through focus group discussions and other tools to better understand the challenges and opportunities that arise.

Market Coordinator

2Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Officer-1

Bachelor's in agriculture, economics, social work, sociology or related field at least two years of experience and In-depth knowledge on Women’s economic empowerment approaches.

  • Provide technical support during the annual planning of WEE intervention, approaches and action based on the scope of the project
  • Lead the implementation of the WEE interventions of the project
  • Support to plan and integrating to gender-responsive market assessments and any additional WEE assessments 
  • Based on the assessment, develop the WEE strategy and associated work plan, including mainstreamed/targeted activities and approach to ‘do no harm’
  • Advise the monitoring team in the organisation and collect data, analyze it, and report the WEE outcomes of the project
  • Provide technical assistance and support to project team regarding WEE-related issues
  • Facilitate or assist the team in conducting responsive fact-finding through focus group discussions and other tools to better understand the challenges and opportunities that arise.

Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Officer 

3Green Growth Officer-1
Bachelor's in Agriculture, NRM, Climate Change or related fields at least two years of experience and experiences of project/s on environmental sustainability, climate action under livelihood, food security, agriculture sector.
  • Lead the implementation of climate adaptation and mitigation, environmental protection, and restoration action and initiatives
  • Develop plans and approaches to implement AP-relevant ESCA activities for households/communities and market actors and lead the implementation and monitoring of these actions/initiatives
  • Working closely with Project Manager/Coordinator to develop inclusive and green business models that integrate environmental considerations into core business practices together with communities/HHs and market actors
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to ensure the effective application of sustainability practices to communities/HHs
  • Providing technical assistance to businesses/market actors on adopting green technologies and practices
  • Network and liaise with Local and Government, likeminded agencies and Business Groups.  
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on environmental sustainability and climate action for the project team on how to mainstreaming ESCA into iMSD and other ESCA models 
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on project progress, communicating key findings to project team and stakeholders

Green Growth Officer 

4NCG Officer-1
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or Community Nursing or other relevant field with at least two years of experience in health/nutrition project management, preferably having worked in close coordination with government institutions like rural/municipality, health facility, previous District Health Office etc.
  • Situation analysis of the nutritional status, early childhood development status and rearing and caring practices of children under five in the communities.
  • Forms Nurturing Care groups in the communities to capacitate them for positive parenting, nurturing and appropriate care of children under five. 
  • Train nurturing care group volunteers and social mobilizers to build capacity and mobilize them for the improvement of nutritional status of children and mothers including child care practices.
  • Annual planning, budgeting of early childhood development, infant and young child feeding practices and health and nutrition activities.
  • Coordinate with Palika, ward office and health facilities to carry out monthly growth monitoring of under two years children and quarterly growth monitoring of 3-5 years children 
  • Enroll all malnourished children’s mothers in nutrition counseling sessions and provide appropriate feeding practices
  • Establish growth monitoring and promotion databases in real time
  • Enroll all malnourished children in PD hearth and assist to carry out PDH sessions in the communities and support to timely referral of severely acute malnourished children in nearby health facilities or in rehabilitation center
  • Establish growth monitoring and promotion databases including PDH database in real time
  • Coordinate across nutrition field staff to ensure the development and regular use of all technical tools including implementation guidelines, quality benchmark, training materials, training curriculum, information materials, behavior change communication (BCC) materials and other resources
  • Capacity building of Mobilizers to ensure adequate competencies at field level to deliver all necessary components of the nutrition program. 
  • Learning and sharing meetings with project staff, government officials/staffs and other relevant stakeholders for continuous improvement of nutrition interventions as well as relationship building
