Center for Research and Sustainable Development Nepal (CREASION) is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 2005. Since it was founded, CREASION has been a leader in environmental protection in Nepal through recycling, research, emergency response, grassroots and circular economy related interventions. CREASION also houses innovative, impact-based projects as well as a learning center for youth. CREASION’s work is majorly centered around four thematic areas; Environment and Sustainability, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Youth and Volunteerism.

Job Title: Project Officer (1)

Position Overview (100% engagement, full time): Facilitate and support project coordinator in overall implementation and management of activities including rapid need assessment, capacity building and awareness raising training, selection of participants, formation of RU groups, business development , specific technical training for RU enterprises , good coordination and communication with PMC ward offices, TLOs and other stakeholders, support in report writing, good mobilization and communication with social mobilizers, support in developing resource materials such as presentation and training materials , prioritize GESI in overall activities.

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree on Environment science, environment engineering, economic, social science or equivalent
• At least 1 year of work experience on environment activities (experience on solid waste management and recycling and upcycling is highly preferable)
• Good understanding of solid waste management and recycling and upcycling entrepreneurship
• Experience on community level capacity building, awareness raising and skill development training
• Good in community mobilization with sound coordination and communication skills
• Good knowledge on monitoring and evaluation
• Proven skills and attitude for a good team worker and coordination at individual and institutional level,
• Proficiency in MS office software 
• S/he should have knowledge and sensitivity of and respect for gender equality, social inclusion, and diversity awareness.

Job Title: Co-Trainer (2)

Position Overview( Intermittent basis): Support Lead trainer in overall management and coordination of capacity building and awareness raising training, selection of participants, provide technical input to skill development training and business plans for RU, coordination with government, private sector, community and various stakeholders, support in preparing proceeding report of training, prioritize GESI while conducting trainings.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Environment Science or Environment Engineering or Economic or related disciplines
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience on capacity building and awareness raising training, development of business plans, entrepreneurship skill development trainings, establishment of small-scale enterprises particularly in area of SWM and Recycling and Upcycling 
• Proven experience in conducting capacity building activities to government officials, private sectors, communities or other stakeholders
• Experience on business skill development and establishment of small-scale enterprises related to recycling and upcycling
• Proven skills and attitude for a good team worker and coordination at individual and institutional level,
• S/he should have knowledge and sensitivity of and respect for gender equality, social inclusion, and diversity awareness.

Job Title: Social Mobilizer (33)

Position Overview (100% engagement, full time): Active participation in community mobilization activities in the field, support in selection of participants, support in rapid need assessment, regular coordination and communication with communities, ward office and other stakeholders, facilitation in capacity building and awareness raising training, prioritize GESI in overall activities, conduct day-day awareness activities on waste management and monitoring in the assigned area.

Experience:

• At least completion of SLC/SEE 
• At least one year of work experience at the community mobilization activities
• Good understanding of solid waste management and recycling and upcycling entrepreneurship
• Good command of writing and verbal in Nepali and local language
• Have experience on training and facilitation skill and data collection
• Have social mobilization skills to work with different community level
• Have experience on coordination and communication skill with good understanding of local context

Job Title: Project Assistant (1)

Position Overview (100% engagement, full time): Support project officer in overall activities of project officer

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree(completed/ongoing) on social science, economic or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience on development project 
• Have experience on training and facilitation skill
• Good experience on data collection survey, encoding and report writing
• Proficiency on MS office software
• Good experience on community mobilization skills, sound coordination and communication skill

Job Title: Finance Officer (1)

Position Overview (100% engagement, full time): Conduct Day-day financial activities and prepare financial reports, ensure logistic arrangement smoothly.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in financial management principles, budgeting and accounting practices. Experience on working with UN/ multi -donor- funding project will be highly preferable.
• A good team worker and coordination at individual and institutional level
• S/he should have knowledge and sensitivity for gender equality, social inclusion, and diversity awareness.

Job Title: Recycling Upcycling (RU) expert and Trainer (1)

Position Overview: Review rapid need assessment, prepare session plans and resource materials for the training packages. Facilitate the training theoretically and practically considering the participants' needs. Develop innovative ideas to develop products from waste fractions. Compile and incorporate in the final report that reflect opportunities and challenges, and way forward for further upscaling of skills development training.

Experience: 

• Master's Degree in Environment science, environment engineering, solid waste management in recycling/upcycling, economic or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in solid waste management especially on recycling and upcycling entrepreneurship
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in conducting orientation and awareness activities, innovative idea, skill development training, business development skill related to setting up recycling and upcycling enterprises
• Proven experience in capacity building event facilitation, and coordination with community groups to effectively implement the project activities.
• Experience in production of different items using hands made tools, and or using machinery tools related to recycling and upcycling 
• Proven experience of coordination with local government, private sectors, and community groups and in PMC will be added advantages.
• Willing to work in the team and encourage to participants towards learning environment by creating enabling environment 
• She/he should have knowledge and sensitivity for gender equality, social inclusion, and diversity awareness.

Job Title: Recycling Upcycling Co trainer (1)

Position Overview (100% engagement, full time): Session plan on business development skill, conduct overall business development skills training for participants, support RU groups in market analysis, market strategy plan and business growth, legalization and institutional set up, branding and marketing of RU products, prioritize GESI in overall activities, connect RU groups with existing RU enterprises

Experience:

• Master's degree in business administration, Marketing, economic or other equivalent 
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience on innovative ideas, business development skill especially at small scale enterprises. Such knowledge and experience on recycling and upcycling will be highly preferable
• Have experience on market analysis, developing business strategy and business growth skill
• Have proven experience on setting up and legalization of small-scale enterprises especially at community level.
• Have proven experience on branding and marketing of products
• A good team worker and coordination at individual and institutional level
• S/he should have knowledge and sensitivity for gender equality, social inclusion, and diversity awareness.

Job Title: Business Development Support Officer (1)

Position Overview (Intermittent basis): Support in overall activities of Business development expert

Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, economic or other equivalent 
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience on innovative ideas, business development skill especially at small scale enterprises. Such knowledge and experience on recycling and upcycling will be highly preferable
• Have good knowledge on market analysis, developing business strategy and business growth skill
• Have experience on setting up and legalization of small-scale enterprises especially at community level.
• Have knowledge and experience on branding and marketing of products
• A good team worker and coordination at individual and institutional level
• S/he should have knowledge and sensitivity for gender equality, social inclusion, and diversity awareness.
