Vacancy Announcement

A National Non-Governmental organization working in the field of Reproductive Health and Rights has the following vacancies:

1. Outreach Officer – 7 Time: 3 months with possibility of extension

• One based in Kathmandu
• One Tharu speaking based in Butwal
• One Awadhi speaking based in Butwal
• One Bajjika speaking based in Bara
• One Maithili speaking based in Janakpur
• One Doteli speaking based in Dhangadi
• One Bajhangi speaking based in Dhangadi

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any health-related discipline.
• Must be local from district or palika where s/he applying for.
• Able to speak local language of area where s/he is applying for. 
• Familiar with the social and cultural system of district where s/he is applying for.
• At least one year of work experience at community level.
• Excellent computer skills including email and Microsoft office package.
• Able to speak and write in English and Nepali.

2. District Program Officer – 1 (Based in Bardiya District)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or equivalent qualification for recognised university.
• Must be local of Bardiya district.
• Good knowledge of working modalities of local governments (palikas/wards).
• At least two years of work experience.
• Excellent computer skills including email and Microsoft office package.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Nepali. Candidates from Tharu community will be given preference.

3. Social Mobilizer-1 (Based in Dhanusha District)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or equivalent qualification for recognised university.
• Must be local of Dhansuha district.
• Good knowledge of working modalities of local governments (palikas/wards).
• At least one year of work experience in development sector. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be passionate about women’s health and rights.
• Good communication skills including written and spoken English, Nepali and local languages.
• Excellent computer skills including email and Microsoft office package.
