Human Resources Centre (HRC) Bajura is a Nepalese non-government development organization it's has been established in Bajura district of Nepal. The organization has been working on need based action orientated multi-disciplinary areas through social mobilization especially focusing on human resources capacity development, human rights, livelihood, micro enterprise, infrastructure, climate change, quality education, lobby/advocacy, empowerment, disaster risk management. HRC Bajura is expecting the project related with Functional/physical Rehabilitation, economic inclusion, Social protection, Community Based climate change Adaptations and Resilience in partnership with Handicap International Federation Nepal  – Humanity and Inclusion (HI). The primary impact groups of the project are person with disabilities including women and children and other vulnerable People in in Badimalika Municipality Bajura, District sudurpachim province with the aim to improve the quality of life of person with disability and vulnerable people with a holistic approach including of community based climate adoptions. Thus, HRC-Bajura, invites application form, qualified, competent and result oriented and highly self-motivated Nepalese candidates for the following position.

All positions are contingent to funds availability and agreement with funding agency.

1. Project Coordinator –  (Based in Badimalika Municipality of Bajura District)

Number of Position: One (1)

Summary of Position: This position will be responsible for overall responsible management for effective implementation of the project in Badimalika Municipality, Bajura with a strong professionalism and role modeling for the team and others to demonstrate integrity, accountability, passion, commitment and strong team spirit. The incumbent should be able to work independently and interdependently managing every kind of situation and context. The local resources are managed well to effectively run the project interventions for the longer run, efficiency in coordination and advisory support of Focal Person/Executive Director HRC-Bajura Senior Management Team (SMT) and thematic leaders to achieve qualitative outputs of the implemented projects.

Key Responsibilities: The position is based at project office to look after the project activities with frequent visits to the project sites. The major roles and responsibilities of the incumbent are:

  • To ensure overall planning and timely implementation of activities of the project engaging with local communities, local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • To provide all necessary supports to meet the  objectives of the project
  • To undertake other relevant tasks as required by the project in a team approach including monitoring and preparation of the project reports

Qualifications and Experience required 

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree Sociology / Rural Development/ business studies/public health related field or economic inclusion/livelihood-related subjects with at least 3 years  proven experiences in economic inclusion, economic empowerment or off farm/On farm livelihood activities work experience in leading and managing projects with diverse team in preferably in Sudurpachim Province.
  • Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, use of email/internet 
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Experience working in the field of disability, climate change adoptions in either development or emergency contexts will be advantages.

2. Admin and Finance Assistant– (Based in Badimalika Municipality of Bajura District)

Number of Position: One (1) 

Summary of Position: This position will be responsible for providing overall Financial, admin and supply chain support to the organization and ensure that all the financial truncations are adhered to the required financial compliance of the organization, donor and governmental compliances, which includes payment and disbursements; financial analysis and reporting for the achievement of overall organization and project goal.

Key Responsibilities: The position is based at project office to look after the project activities with frequent visits to the project sites. The major roles and responsibilities of the incumbent are: 

  • Capable of handling all types of financial and administrative work at the location. 
  • Other desirable skills include strengthening the internal control system; presenting a positive ‘can do’ attitude to get things done.
  • Delivers timely and appropriate results using available resources. 
  • Essential skills include working experience in FAMAS, experience with funding partner agencies, sound knowledge of MS Excel and Office Package, logistics and program understanding, 
  • Knowledge of the procurement process and its implication on successful project implementation.
  • Capable of handling all types of financial and administrative work, including computer skills, including the use of spreadsheets and electronic mail.
  • Prepares and compiles monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and submit to the concerned authority.
  • Prepares monthly expenditure for monthly Budget vs. Actual for submitting to the donor.
  • Reviews payment vouchers to ensure all compliances, ensure local and national legal requirements relating to tax on different payments, 
  • Review payroll of HRC staff for all adjustments and accuracy.
  • Obtains monthly bank statement prepare bank reconciliation statement of respective offices.

Qualifications and Experience required 

  • Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Business Studies or Equivalent with 2 year of previous experiences in related field or/ Intermediate/ +2 pass with specialization in commerce/ accounting. at least 3 years of previous experiences in related field 
  • Experience of working in a computerized accounting environment like FAMAS.
  • Ability to lead financial management of the project/program and make the linkage of this with overall financial management of the organization

3. Project Assistant- Economic Inclusion (PA- EI) –  (field Based in Badimalika Municipality of Bajura District)

Number of Position: One (1)

Summary of Position: Assess the economic inclusion or livelihood need of person with disabilities and vulnerable people by applying personalized social support (PSS) to align livelihoods and economic inclusion of the project. PA-EI should be proactive, always looking for new opportunities, and persuasive in mobilizing stakeholders, and beneficiary around new models of economic and social integration.

Key Responsibilities: The position is field based, at project to look after the project activities with frequent visits to the project sites. The major roles and responsibilities of the incumbent are:

  • Implement the project activities in the designated area under the project as per work plan and activity plan
  • Support in assessment of the economic inclusion or livelihood need of people with disabilities and vulnerable people by applying the personalized social support (PSS) approach, BENEREI/Graduation module.
  • Improve the enabling environment for person with disability and other vulnerable people through advocacy on the right to/at work, and access to economic opportunities and services.
  • Support to capacity enhance of the local Disability coordination committee (DCC) of the Municipality with regards to their inclusive planning, implementing and monitoring process regarding social protection scheme.
  • Build project databases to support regular information sharing and coordination among different humanitarian, developmental, and governmental stakeholders. 
  • Enhance ongoing livelihoods and economic inclusion programming through evidence-based and PSS approaches to improve economic inclusion outcomes.
  • Completing other responsibilities as requested by the Program Coordinator

Qualifications and Experience required 

  • Intermediate/Bachelors  level agriculture or livestock  with proven experience of on the farm or off farm livelihood activities
  • The exposure on value chain analysis and market system Development (MSD) approach will be an advantage 
  • Knowledge of the local development planning process will be also considered as a merit.

4. Project Assistant- Disability Inclusion & Climate Change Adaptation (PA – DI and CCA) – (field Based in Badimalika Municipality of Bajura District)

Number of Position: One (1)

Summary of Position: The Project Assistant –(Disability Inclusion and Climate Change adaption) will support Identify the rehabilitation, inclusion and accessibility need of persons with disabilities and vulnerable people; Support and develop linkage with local level social protection provision related stakeholders. The PA–DI and CCA is responsible for essential actions that humanitarian actors must take in order to effectively identify and respond to the needs and rights of persons with disabilities, who are most at risk of being left behind in humanitarian settings. The Project Assistance will achieve the outputs by working closely local government and stockholders in establishing procedures, models, tools and guidelines based on the Integrated Approach. He/ She is responsible for planning, Reporting, activities Monitoring, advocacy, Implementing project activities.

Key Responsibilities: The position is field based, at project to look after the project activities with frequent visits to the project sites. The major roles and responsibilities of the incumbent are:

  • Support to identify and support small scale community based mitigation measures that address and reduce the economic and health impact of the climate change.
  • Support and develop linkage with local-level social protection provision-related stakeholders.
  • Supporting Knowledge Management and knowledge sharing within program and admin/finance teams and across the entire organization
  • Identify the rehabilitation, social and economic inclusion, and accessibility need of persons with disabilities and vulnerable people.
  • Support to conduct inclusive climate vulnerability and capacity Assessments.
  • Completing other responsibilities as requested by the Program Coordinator.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Intermediate/Bachelors level Health or Civil engineering or law with proven experience on the disability rights promotion, disability inclusion and accessibility activities will be advantages
