Panchtara Yuwa Samrakshak Manch (PTYSM) is a non-profit, non-governmental, humanitarian, and development organization registered with the District Administration Office, Jajarkot, and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council. Established in 1997, PTYSM is led by dedicated young development professionals and social workers with extensive experience in rural development. The organization operates across Karnali Province with a focus on improving food security, nutrition, livelihoods, education, disaster risk reduction (DRR), humanitarian response, protection, and disability inclusion for marginalized communities. PTYSM’s work is guided by the principles of equity, inclusion, and resilience, ensuring that women, disadvantaged groups, and persons with disabilities benefit from its interventions.
PTYSM is currently implementing the Sahayatra-III Project and the Adolescent Maternal and Newborn Health (MNH) Project in partnership with Save the Children International in Chhedagad Municipality of Jajarkot district. The Sahayatra-III Project is an integrated initiative covering education, child protection, child rights governance, sexual and reproductive health rights, and climate change and green jobs. Its primary goal is to improve the quality of education, protection, and child rights for the most deprived and marginalized children. The Adolescent MNH Project focuses on enhancing the health and well-being of parenting adolescents, mothers, and newborns through strong collaboration with communities, local governments, and relevant stakeholders.
In this context, PTYSM invites applications from qualified, competent, and self-motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions:
1. Programme Coordinator – Adolescent MNH
Location: PTYSM Field Office, Chhedagad Municipality, Jajarkot (40% field travel)
Type of Contract: Annual
Role Purpose:
The Programme Coordinator for the Adolescent MNH Project will work closely with the Programme Director and lead the project team. The role involves planning, implementing, and overseeing project activities while coordinating Field Officers, MEAL, Documentation and Reporting Officer, Field Mentors, local governments, health facilities, and adolescent/youth networks.
Scope of Role:
- Reports to: Programme Director
- Supervises: Technical Coordinator, Finance and Supply Chain Officer, MEAL & Documentation and Reporting Officer, Field Officers, Field Mentors
- Budget Responsibilities: Yes
- Role Dimension: A key leadership role responsible for effective project delivery and achievement of results under the direct supervision of the Programme Director.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Public Health with 4 years (2 years for GEDSI applicants) of experience in maternal and neonatal health, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with 5 years (3 years for GEDSI applicants) of experience managing maternal, neonatal, or adolescent health projects.

2. Technical Coordinator – Adolescent MNH
Location: PTYSM Field Office, Chhedagad Municipality, Jajarkot (50% field travel)
Type of Contract: Annual
Role Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Programme Coordinator, the Technical Coordinator will provide technical leadership and support for the Adolescent MNH Project at district and municipal levels. Responsibilities include improving quality of care, providing technical backstopping, capacity building of staff and government counterparts, and coordination with community stakeholders.
Scope of Role:
- Reports to: Programme Coordinator
- Supervises: Dotted-line supervision of Field Officers and Field Mentors
- Budget Responsibilities: None
- Role Dimension: A critical technical role ensuring effective implementation and achievement of program outcomes.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or Medicine with 3 years (1.5 years for GEDSI applicants) of experience in maternal and neonatal health, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or Medicine with 5 years (2.5 years for GEDSI applicants) of experience in onsite coaching and mentoring.
- Skilled Birth Attendant (SBA) training is mandatory.

3. Field Officer – SRHR, Sahayatra-III
Location: Chhedagad Municipality, Jajarkot with 80% Field
Type of Contract: Annual
Role Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator–SRHR, the Field Officer will lead community-level SRHR interventions in close coordination with health workers, mentors, HFOMCs, youth groups, and other local stakeholders. The position requires strong collaboration with the municipal health unit, health facilities, mentors/facilitators, and local health workers to ensure high-quality program delivery.
Scope of Role:
- Reports to: Project Coordinator – SRHR
- Supervises: None
- Budget Responsibilities: None
- Role Dimension: A key field-level position responsible for mobilizing SRHR mentors and stakeholders to achieve project results.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Staff Nurse or Health Assistant with at least 2 years of experience in health or SRHR-related projects.
- Prior experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights programming preferred.
- Experience working closely with local government and community structures.
