Subject: Vacancy announcement for various positions

Center for Equal Access Development (CEAD) Nepal is a non-profitable NGO registered in Doti District and working in the sectors of health, nutrition, child protection, Safe Migration, child sponsorship and good governance along with other sectors of community development since 2063 B.S. 

In partnership with United Mission to Nepal, CEAD Nepal is going to implement the 'Children Oriented Resilience Development (CORD)' Project in four wards (ward no. 2, 3, 5 & 6) of Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality Doti. CEAD Nepal is looking for strong and potential Nepalese candidates to fulfill the following positions:

Qualifications and experiences

1.

Project Coordinator

1

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Environment Science/Social Science/Social Work with at least three years of experience in integrated community development projects focused on resilient approach, child protection and right-based approach. 
  • Master's degree with relevant experience (one year plus) in mentioned fields is preferred.
  • Have skill and experience on adaptive planning, budgeting and implementation of project interventions and strategies/ approaches
  • Excellent working experience with groups, community mobilization and action reflection process
  • Strong experience of working on child rights/protection, anti-human trafficking, migration, food security, right to food and livestock, enterprise development etc. 
  • Broader understanding of crosscutting issues such as disability, gender, climate-change, conflict sensitivity.
  • Have good coordination, collaboration, and networking skills. 
  • Have human resource management and mobilization skills
  • Have knowledge, skill, and experience of participatory action research
  • Familiar with rural communities, local language, and culture
  • Have good report writing skills (English preferred)
  • Have a two-wheeler driving license to visit communities

2.

Admin and Finance Officer (AFO)

  • Bachelor's Degree in business studies (BBA/BBS)
  • Minimum three years' experience in accounting, financial management, and administration work in development organisations
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and administration work
  • Excellent skills in computer (MS-excel and accounting soft-wares) 
  • Able to work independently and develop individual work calendar
  • Knowledge and experience of data base management
  • Strong skill on excels and it use to generate data management sheets

3.

Community Development Facilitator- Agriculture

Community Development Facilitator- Agriculture

  • Minimum +2 level graduate in Agriculture (Diploma in Agriculture with at least three years' experience Or JTA passed with five years’ experience in Community Development projects related to agriculture, livestock, and enterprise development, etc. 
  • Experience on farm based and off-farm based business promotional supports.

Community Development Facilitator-Migration/ Anti-Human Trafficking (AHT)

Community Development Facilitator-Migration/ Anti-Human Trafficking (AHT)

  • Minimum +2 level graduate in any discipline with at least three years' experience in Community Development projects related to migration and anti-human trafficking 
  • Experience of working in gender-based violence and other social/ traditional harmful practices

Community Development Facilitator- Child rights & protection

Community Development Facilitator- Child rights & protection

  • Minimum +2 level graduate in Education with at least three years' experience in Community Development projects related to Child rights and child protection
  • Experience of working in child protection system strengthening and promoting child participation and development

6.

Community Development Facilitator- Education & Governance

Community Development Facilitator- Education & Governance 

  • Minimum +2 level graduate in Education with at least three years' experience in Community Development projects related to quality education, good governance including social accountability and transparency
  • Experience of working in parenting education, child-friendly education, and child-friendly local governance 



For all four positions:

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant experience (more than one year) in the mentioned field is preferred. 
  • Experience of group facilitation and mobilization approach/process
  • Have skill and experience of action reflection process
  • Knowledge, skill and experience of resilience approach /resilience development in child and youths
  • Have idea and experience of Rights-Based Approach (RBA)
  • Working experience in integrated projects
  • Well experience on training courses designing and facilitations 
  • Familiar with rural communities, the local language, and culture
  • Have good report writing skill
  • Broader understanding on of disability, gender, climate change, and conflict sensitivity etc.
  • Preferred two-wheeler driving license holder in the above positions.
