SAHAMATI is a non-governmental, non-profit making, social development organization established in 2001/11/12 (Kartik 27, 2058) by a group of professionals and development workers with long experience in community development. This organization has been registered as an NGO under the organization registration act of Nepal. Global problems like climate change, poverty, social discrimination and migration influence Nepal's development process, demanding diversified answers. Underprivileged groups are often excluded while designing development program, unfortunate for them. SAHAMATI aims to make a change by addressing the huge challenges of the 21st century with a community-centered approach, focusing on social justice and social transformation, human rights development and self-help promotion. SAHAMATI has built a large network composed of diverse social groups, national and international organizations and like-minded institutions and have been launching various kinds of community-centered programs on collaboration. SAHAMATI has built a network of social groups, organizations and institutions and has been implementing community-centered projects in collaboration with various partners, Is seeking qualified, energetic, and committed Nepali citizens for the following positions under the Jersey Valley Nepal Project (JV Nepal) implemented in Nawalpur, Kaski, and Tanahu districts.
1. Project Coordinator (1 position)
- Duty Station: Pokhara (with 80% field travel in Nawalpur, Kaski & Tanahu)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Veterinary Science or Agriculture (Animal Science) with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Key Competencies: Project management, community mobilization, dairy/livelihood projects, leadership & communication skills, valid two-wheeler license.

२. प्राविधिक संयोजक (Technical Coordinator) – ३ जना
- कार्यस्थल: तनहुँ,
कास्की, नवलपुर
(परियोजना क्षेत्र)
- शैक्षिक योग्यता: जिव विज्ञान (Animal Science) मा TSLC गरी कम्तीमा ५ वर्षको अनुभव, वा जिव विज्ञान (Animal Science) मा I.Sc. गरी कम्तीमा २ वर्षको अनुभव।
- मुख्य दक्षता: पशुपालन/दुग्ध
उत्पादन सम्बन्धी प्राविधिक ज्ञान, तालिम
सञ्चालन गर्ने क्षमता, विस्तार सेवा (extension services) मा अनुभव,

भाषा बुझ्ने र बोल्ने क्षमता, समुदायसँग काम गर्ने सीप, सहजता र
नेतृत्व क्षमता, किसान र सहकारीहरूसँग नजिकबाट काम गर्ने इच्छा।
