CARE Nepal is a not-for profit organization that works across the range of humanitarian action and long-term development programs to fight poverty and achieve social justice by addressing gender-based violence, women and girls’ leadership and voice, inclusive governance, sexual & reproductive health, livelihoods, food and nutrition security, disaster risk reduction, and climate justice. It brings on its global experience to address the underlying causes of poverty and social injustice, with a distinct focus on the most marginalized and vulnerable women and adolescent girls. 1. Internal Audit Officer- based in Kathmandu, Nepal 

The Internal Audit Officer will be primarily responsible for performing internal audits of grants, functions, and partner organizations with minimum supervision from the Internal Audit Specialist to provide an independent assessment of CARE Nepal’s financial, programmatic, operational, and control activities. The role supports annual audit planning and risk assessment processes, leads audit assignments in line with approved audit plans, identifies control weaknesses and compliance gaps, and provides practical recommendations for improvement. The position is also responsible for maintaining partner risk assessment databases, coordinating project, mission, donor, and other reviews, and supporting special audits and investigations as required by CARE Nepal and CARE USA.
