Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing Glow On Location’s social media platforms and website media content. This includes strategy, content creation, engagement, analytics, and website updates to ensure a cohesive brand presence across all digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute social media strategy aligned with the brand and business goals.
  • Create, schedule, and post high-quality content (Posts, Reels, Stories, TikToks, etc.) across all platforms.
  • Write engaging captions, optimise hashtags, and maintain brand consistency.
  • Engage with followers through comments, DMs, and community interactions.
  • Monitor trends, analyse performance metrics, and adjust strategy to maximise engagement and growth.
  • Plan and manage collaborations and paid campaigns.

Website Media Management

  • Maintain and update website media content, including images, videos, graphics, and banners.
  • Ensure website content is visually appealing, on-brand, and optimized for user experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement new pages, campaigns, and landing content.
  • Monitor website performance, SEO best practices, and suggest improvements for content structure.
  • Support blog or news updates, product/service galleries, and other digital assets as needed.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report performance metrics for social media and website content.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement, traffic, and conversions.

Collaboration

  • Work with photographers to produce high-quality digital assets.
  • Support event coverage and campaigns with website and social media updates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2 or more than 2 years of work experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's or Masters completed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with teams, clients and audience.
  • Proven experience managing social media and website content (beauty, lifestyle, or service industries preferred).
  • Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and website media management.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube).
  • Experience with content creation tools.
  • Knowledge of basic SEO, website optimization, and analytics tools.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and creative.

Requirement: 20 hours per week
