Introduction:
Store Assistant and Generator Operator is responsible to support DIO (Nepal) mission by providing efficient support in managing the storage and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment, and to operate and maintain standby generators to ensure uninterrupted power supply when required

This position is advertised at 40 hours per week in shift system.
Job description/Responsibilities:
Primary role:
- Receive, inspect, and record delivery of materials, spare parts, and tools.
- Issue technical stores to staff on receiving approved store issuance requests and maintain accurate stock records on PROM/PCT system.
- Produce periodic stock report on PROM/PCT system to maintain minimum balance of spare stock.
- Ensure periodic management store check is conducted in time, log and report findings to line management following DIO (N) SOI.
- Assist store accountant to keep the store area clean, organized, secure and compliant with safety standards.
- Collect and distribute all official DIO (N) parcels/packages from the post room.
- Take responsibility for DIO (N) Store in Store person’s absence.
Secondary role:
- After receiving in-house training, provide duty cover for Generator Operator in their absence.
- Perform daily checks on standby generators for fuel level, oil, coolant, and battery condition and report faults, irregularities, or required repairs to the line management.
- Operate standby generators during power outages or when requested during maintenance or tests, maintain logbooks by recording running hours, fuel consumption, various electrical parameters and maintenance performed.
- Support line management in their task, including deputizing for them when required. Other duties as directed by the Line Manager commensurate with grade and competence.

Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as store associate or have proven experience in relevant trade as described in job description.
- Similar experience with reputed organisation is preferred.
- Physically and mentally fit and demonstrate aptitude to undertake various demanding physical activities required working as engineering store associate.
Qualification:
- Academic – SLC/SEE
- Technical – Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suit and stores accounting packages
- English – Good Written and Spoken
- Nepali – Good Written and Spoken
You will be assessed on your English language skills and IT/Stores Accounting Test to qualify for interviews during the sifting and selection process.

- Salary 66,242.00 NPR per month (Permanent).
