Mercy Corps invites applications for:
SHORT-TERM TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS (27):
The Consultants must be available from mid January 2010 until April 2010, for a total work period of up to 60 days.
The Consultants will provide on-site technical oversight for small, participatory infrastructure schemes implemented by community User Committees through a Cash-for-Work (CFW) approach. During scheme implementation, one Technical Consultant will be assigned per VDC. A Diploma in Civil Engineering or an Overseer Degree is required. Consultants must be willing to live and work in remote environments during the consultancy period, and must be familiar with scheme design, feasibility analysis, ESMP, material/ labor estimates, and technical monitoring.
