Relief Nepal is a non-governmental organization registered in 2065 BS at the District Administration Office, Sindhuli. Since its establishment, the organization has been working in the areas of Child Protection, Education, Employment and Income Generation, Health and Nutrition, and Resilient Humanitarian Actions and Disaster Preparedness—particularly focusing on vulnerable children across various districts of Nepal.

The “ELEVATE: Equitable Learning Environment for All” project, is implementing in partnership with Childaid Network Foundation Nepal, in Dudhauli Municipality of Sindhuli District. Applications are invited from qualified Nepali citizens for the following position:

Position: School Officer (100% Field Based)

Number of Vacancies: 2 (Two)

Duration: 8 Months (with possibility of extension)

Job Description

1. Encourage the School Management Committee to hold quarterly meetings and develop plans to improve education quality.
2. Support ECD (Early Childhood Development) teachers in implementing the ECD curriculum in classrooms, using ELDS, completing the Washington form for each student, and applying referral mechanisms.
3. Encourage schools to assign roles for grade teachers (Grades 1–3) and implement the integrated curriculum with student portfolios.
4. Assist ECD and grade teachers in preparing teaching and learning materials based on the curriculum on a weekly basis.
5. Motivate teachers to regularly conduct ICT-based classes for Grades 4–8, ensuring proper maintenance of computers, adherence to class routines, and accurate student attendance records.
6. Facilitate the formation of an ECD Management Committee in each ECD center and organize interaction meetings.
7. Encourage Eco-clubs to hold monthly meetings, support the preparation of annual plans, assist in implementation, and organize extracurricular activities regularly.
8. Support schools in well manage of libraries, creating codes of conduct, maintaining book lists, and keeping book issue records.
9. Ensure the establishment of a feedback box in each school.
10. Encourage schools to properly maintain playgrounds.
11. Promote and support schools in maintaining proper hygiene among students.
12. Promote and support schools in creating a green and eco-friendly environment.
13. Monitor Rupantaran sessions and parenting education programs at the community level.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Science, or a relevant subject and minimum of 2 years’ experience in education-related projects within I/NGOs.
