1. Job Descriptions of Sales & Marketing

Position Title: Sales and Marketing Officer/Assistant

Duty Station: All Provinces (Koshi, Madhesh Pradesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali & Sudurpaschim)

Organization: Muktinath Trading  Ltd.

Academic Qualification: Min.Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture,Business Administration,or a related Field.

Experience: Min 2 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, Preferably in Agribusiness or a related industry.

A. Roles and responsibilities:

  1. You shall be overall responsible to plan, implement, track and achieve the annual/periodic sales target of the company maintaining the approved margin of the company under standard sales policy in respective province.
  2. Responsible to develop & mobilize District Wise Muktinath AgriLink Center/Distributor/Dealer/Agrovets including existing dealers and other possible sales destination for periodic sales planning, placement of products, application of schemes and payback from market of respective Province.
  3. Responsible to implement sales activities including sharing of sales schemes and other promotional materials to the business associates in respective Province.
  4. You shall be responsible to check the strength, weakness, opportunities & threats on the business associate (ARC/Distributor/Dealer/Agrovet & other) and responsible to act & enhance the business relationship accordingly ensuring the payment collection in time.
  5. To compile all sales activities & generate periodic report in the prescribed format of respective Province.
  6. Coordination with sourcing/purchase team to collect local food products & local seeds from the working area ensuring quality.
  7. Planning Scheduling and promoting office event including meetings, conference, interviews, orientation and training sessions in respective Province.
  8. To establish new distributor, dealers, agro vets network throughout respective province as per annual target. 
  9. Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales plan for necessary budget management in respective province.
  10. Cooperative network development for structural sales and marketing activities in respective Province.
  11. Coordinate and provide feedback to the supervisor for the additional of new products in portfolio and availability of the products in time.
  12. Responsible for feedback collection from clients and way out the possible solution of it.
  13. Ensure sales achievement as per target/plan.
  14. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
  15. Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies
