REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ): STUDY TABLE

The Nepal National Social Welfare Association (NNSWA) was established in 1990. In 1994, NNSWA was registered with the District Administration Office, Kanchanpur, and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council in Kathmandu. Over the years, NNSWA has grown into one of the leading development organizations in Sudur Paschim Province, Nepal, implementing a wide range of integrated, community-based development programs throughout the province. Sudur Paschim Province constitutes the core program area of NNSWA. The districts of the former Far Western Development Region are characterized by poor development indicators, high levels of male migration to India, inadequate infrastructure, significant caste- and gender-based disparities, and extensive deforestation. These conditions provide a strong rationale for NNSWA’s development interventions in the region. NNSWA’s programs are organized into four major sectors: (Education and Early Childhood Development, General Health and Reproductive Health, Nutrition, Disability and Health, Drinking Water, and Sanitation, Community Development through Social and Economic Upliftment, Natural Resource Management (Disaster Risk Reduction and Management [DRRM], Climate Change Adaptation [CCA], and Humanitarian Response)

Details/requirements:

Nepal National Social Welfare Association (NNSWA), Kanchanpur, in partnership with World Vision International Nepal, is implementing Integrated Programming Framework  since 1 October 2022 in Krishnapur Municipality to protect and empower children, adolescents, and communities to build resilience and create a protective environment in Krishnapur Municipality, Kanchanpur District. The project also aims to strengthens child protection systems at local level in all conditions. 

In this regard, NNSWA, located at Krishnapur 5, Gulariya, Kanchanpur intends to procure Study Table, in accordance with given specification. Accordingly, we invite quotations from interested and authorized suppliers. The detailed item specifications, along with the terms and conditions for the bidding process, are outlined below: (Refer annex 1 for detailed specifications)

BID INSTRUCTION:

• Clearly specify the lead time required for delivery of item, calculated from the date of receipt of the Purchase Order (PO)
• Quotation must be submitted on or before End of the Day of 27th October 2026
• Quotations must be submitted as Sealed Hard copy to NNSWA Project Office Krishnapur 5, Gulariya Kanchanpur or NNSWA Head Office at Bhimdatta Municipality Ward No 18, Airport road, Kanchanpur
• Offered product specifications shall be equivalent to or higher than those specified in Annex 1
• Proposed rate shall be inclusive of the delivery charge

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Quotations received after the specified date and time of the invitation will not be considered.
2. Submission of company registration certificate, VAT/PAN certificate, and copy of latest tax payment certificate is required.
3. Quoted rate should be inclusive of all VAT, taxes and other necessary costs if required. Applicable Taxes will be deducted at source as per Government of Nepal Rules & Regulations.
4. Delivery needs to be made to NNSWA Project Office Krishnapur 4, Gulariya Kanchanpur.
5. NNSWA reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or to cancel the bidding process and reject all bids, at any time prior to the award of the contract, without assigning any reasons whatsoever and without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
6. The contract will be awarded in accordance with NNSWA’s evaluation criteria, and the successful bidder/(s) will be notified at the earliest date possible.
7. Payment will be made within 30 days after receipt of goods, successful inspection and approval by the NNSWA team, and submission of an undisputed invoice. If there shall be any objections or specific expectations regarding payment terms, please state them in writing. Payment will be processed via online bank transfer in favor of your company.

LTA Provision: Subject to satisfactory delivery and performance under this RFQ, NNSWA may enter into a one-year Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with the awarded supplier upon mutual agreement of both parties.
