Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in October 1995 with its Head Office in Pokhara and Programme Coordination Office in Lalitpur. LI-BIRD is committed to capitalizing on local resources, innovations and institutions for the sustainable management of natural resources and building resilience to climate change for improving the livelihoods of target beneficiaries that includes smallholder farmers particularly women in Nepal.

LI-BIRD is implementing a project entitled ‘Strengthening Capacity of Smallholder Farmers for Resilient Livelihoods (SAKSHAM)’, funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland through FELM Nepal, in Kanchanpur and Doti districts of Nepal. The overall goal of the project is to improve livelihoods and well-being of marginal and climate vulnerable families in Kanchanpur and Doti districts of Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal through building economic and climate resilience.

Digital based dissemination of information, communication and technology is a recent phenomenon. Recently, the need of the digital based approach of information dissemination could be greatly used to facilitate access to information and knowledge to individuals who are engaging in the agriculture sectors. In this context, the project aims to develop animated videos on training package of agriculture crops to communicate with smallholder farmers, technicians and to provide extension services effectively and efficiently. To this end, the SAKSHAM Project announces the proposal to develop animated videos on training package of agriculture crops.

LI-BIRD invites all eligible consultants/firms to submit the proposal for undertaking the assignment. Please use the form/template provided in the EoI document while preparing your proposal. The proposal must be written in the English language. A proposal received after the deadline will not be considered for evaluation. The proposal that does not meet the requirements will be rejected. The proposal that meets the requirements and offers the best value for money will be selected.
