The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is a global humanitarian organization with a mission to work with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change. Across its worldwide network of 131 offices, ADRA has developed strong health expertise with a specific focus on community and first-line health facilities. ADRA has been active in Nepal since 1987 with health projects in 29 out of 77 districts. 

The COVID-19 pandemic is having far reaching impacts, well beyond the health crisis and needs. Indeed, like in many other parts of the world, COVID-19 had caused considerable disruption to the health system in Nepal, with catastrophic economic, education, and social consequences. Currently, no curative treatment exists for COVID-19 infection. Therefore, a safe and effective prophylactic vaccine is urgently needed to contain the pandemic. Nepal has already started a mass Covid-19 vaccination drive aiming to inoculate 72% of its eligible population above 18 years. To support the GoN’s initiatives, ADRA’s COVER project will contribute to roll out vaccine campaigns to the targeted populations. This survey seeks to assess the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine among the general population aged 18 years and above. Understanding the perspectives of the population is critical for the government so they may formulate the best approach to implement the COVID-19 vaccination programme in Nepal.

Interested Research Agencies are requested to apply with their expression of interest showing past experiences in similar work and proposed approach to deliver this assignment within 7 days of publication of this call. Terms of Reference (ToR) can be requested in this email address rabi.rijal@adranepal.org not later than 28th July 2021. 

The Research Agencies submitting RFP, MUST meet the requirements as mentioned in the ToR. Submission of false information and statements will disqualify the RFP. Interested Research Agencies are hereby invited to send e-copy of both technical & financial proposal along with cover letter to tenders@adranepal.org by 30th July 2021 before 17:00 hrs. 

The RFP received after the deadline will not be considered. 

ADRA Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject applications during screening process.
