Production of Business Promotional Video for SEWA Nepal

1. Background

Social Entrepreneurs Women’s Alliance Nepal (SEWA Nepal) is a national-level network organization working to strengthen women-led cooperatives and social enterprises across Nepal. SEWA Nepal currently have more than 200 Social Entrepreneurs Women Cooperative (SEWC) as its member, functioning mainly on agriculture and livestock value chain. SEWA Nepal supports its member cooperatives through capacity building, technical assistance, governance strengthening, and enterprise development.

SEWA Nepal has aimed to enhance its services towards its members and work with various stakeholders to uphold the agency and representation of its members. Aligning with the objective, SEWA has planned to expand its visibility toward the member and stakeholders. The objective of this assignment is to produce two short promotional video (1–2 minutes) highlighting:

• SEWA Nepal’s key activities and impact
• SEWA Nepal’s services including capacity-building and technical services 
• SEWA Nepal’s and its members issues challenges and policy constraints.

2. Objective

The main objective of this assignment is to develop a high-quality, engaging promotional video that effectively communicates SEWA Nepal’s services and encourages cooperatives to participate in its programs and informs stakeholders about SEWA’s goal

3. Scope of Work

The selected firm/individual will be responsible for:

• Concept development and script writing (in consultation with SEWA Nepal)
• Storyboard preparation
• Video shooting (if required, including field visuals of cooperatives)
• Voice-over (Nepali and/or English as needed)
• Video editing and post-production
• Background music and subtitles (if necessary)
• Final delivery of two short promotional video of  1–2-minute high resolution promotional video.

4. Key Message to be Covered

• Introduction to SEWA Nepal
• Support provided to member cooperatives
• Types of training available (technical, governance, financial management, etc.)
• Affordable service model (minimal fee-based services)
• Call to action for cooperatives to engage with SEWA Nepal

5. Deliverables

• Two final promotional videos (1–2 minutes)
• At least one shorter version (30–45 seconds) for social media use
• Source files and editable formats.
• Script document

6. Duration of Assignment

The assignment is expected to be completed within 2–3 weeks from the date of contract signing.

7. Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants (firms/individuals) should have:

A. Fulfill of Vender registration form.

B. Legal Company/Firm Status/Individuals (Valid Registration Certificate, VAT/PAN/ Tax Clearance, License/work permit for particular work / Other Valid Document’s)

C. Proven experience in video production and editing

D. Portfolio of similar promotional or documentary videos

E. Strong storytelling and creative skills

F. Ability to deliver within tight deadlines

8. Proposal Submission Requirements

Interested applicants must submit:

Technical Proposal:

• Understanding of the assignment
• Proposed concept/approach
• Work plan and timeline
• Technical Proposal: 70%

Financial Proposal:

• Detailed budget breakdown
• Company/Firm Profile
• Portfolio (links to previous work)
• Financial Proposal: 30%

9. Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

• Creativity and understanding of the assignment
• Relevant experience and portfolio
• Cost-effectiveness
• Proposed timeline

10. Budget

The budget should be reasonable and competitive. SEWA Nepal encourages cost-effective proposals.

11. Submission Deadline
