Request for Proposal (RFP)

IM Swedish Development Partner (IM) is a Swedish NGO and civil society organization founded in 1938 in Lund, Sweden. It is funded by the Swedish government (Sida) and individual donors. It works in 13 countries across the world. IM’s commitment is to empower civil society, catalyzing profound societal change towards equality and democracy, as a feminist and anti-racist change agent. IM has been supporting Nepal’s development and humanitarian efforts since 1980 through Nepali partner organizations. Since 2010, it has been working in Nepal as a legally registered INGO. The strategic focuses of IM are 1) Social Inclusion, 2) Economic Inclusion, 3) Civic Space, and 4) Strengthening Civil Societies. IM works at Dang, Kapilvastu, Nawalpur, Gorkha, and Kathmandu districts through 8 partner organizations, and also support provincial and federal level policy work.

IM is conducting two different studies; 1) Study on the socio-economic impact of COVID-19 on marginalized communities in Dang and Kapilvastu, and 2) Study on Linking Relief, Rehabilitation and Development (LRRD) in Gorkha. IM is seeking consultancy services from an expert consultancy firm to undertake these studies within last quarter of 2020. 

IM invites RFP on "Study on the socio-economic impact of COVID-19 on marginalized communities in Dang and Kapilvastu" and "Study on LRRD in Gorkha". Interested consultancy firms can obtain the detailed TOR of both “COVID-19 Socio-Economic Impact Study" and "Study on LRRD" through below link.

Interested and eligible consultancy firms are requested to submit their expression of interest along with required documents to anju.shrestha@imsweden.org. Soft copy documents should be submitted to IM clearly labelled with the subject line 1)“COVID-19 Socio-Economic Impact Study" and 2) Study on LRRD by no later than 13th October 2020, 5.00 PM.
