Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for consultant

DYC Parsa has been implementing FCDO funded "Empowering a New Generation of Adolescent Girls with Education" (ENGAGE) project in partnership with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) in Jagarnathpur Rural Municipality, Dhobini Rural Municipality of Parsa.  Handicap International Nepal (HI) is providing technical support in disability component of this project. ENGAGE project has 243 numbers of project beneficiaries interested in livelihood sectors. To provide technical support to the project beneficiaries, ENGAGE has planned to hire 2-3 consultants in each Palika (Jagarnthpur and Dhobini) of Parsa district, and the consultants are expected to support project beneficiaries in developing individual business plans in accordance with their interest.

DYC Parsa is looking for an experienced consultant. Interested, qualified and experienced firm or individual are requested to submit application along with the following documents hardcopy or through e-mail to the address within the timeline mentioned below:

Responsibility of Consultant 

• Selected consultant needs to develop sample of business plan and share it to DYC for the review and feedback.
• After the approval on the sample business plan, consultant will visit to the project location to Prepare of business plan of the project beneficiaries (Primary Actors (PAs).
• Discuss with the project beneficiaries in the project location about the business plan and its necessity and support them to prepare a business plan according to the business they have chosen.
• The business plan should be prepared on the basis of the Details TOR 
• Consultant needs to share the report of consultancy work after the assignment is completed. 

Interested Consultancy firms/institution and individual consultant are required to submit the following: 

• Letter of interest 
• Personal CVs of professional personnel proposed for this consultancy service that applies to both individual consultant and firms.
• A brief concept note highlighting the methodological design including work plan and quality assurance mechanisms. 
• Financial proposal indicating consultancy fee and a breakdown of expenses. 
• Copy of company registration certificate (this is required for firms only) 
• Copy of PAN/VAT registration certificate.
• Certificates
