IM Swedish Development Partner (IM) is an international NGO and civil society organization founded in 1938 in Lund, Sweden. It is funded by the Swedish government for development cooperation agency(Sida) and individual donors. It works in 13 countries across the world. IM's commitment is to empower civil society, catalyzing profound societal change towards equality and democracy, as a feminist and anti-racist change agent. Women and youth from Dalit, Madhesi, Muslim, Janajti, and marginalized communities, and Freed Kamaiya, Kamalari are the key rights holders of IM.

Since 2010, IM is working in Nepal as a legally registered INGO. Under the current strategic plan of IM (2019 to 2023), the strategic focuses of IM are 1) Social Inclusion 2) Economic Inclusion 3) Improving Civic Space, and 4) Strengthening Civil Societies. IM promotes mainstreaming of gender equality, environment and climate resilience, and conflict sensitivity in all its works. IM works at Kapilvastu, Dang, and Kathmandu districts through 8 partner organizations, and support provincial and federal level policy work.  

IM is conducting an Organizational Capacity Assessment for two partner organizations and developing a Capacity Building Plans. Therefore, IM is seeking the consultancy services from an expert consultancy firm/company to undertake this assignment by 2021.

Interested and eligible consultancy firms are requested to submit their cost of proposal along with required documents to anju.shrestha@imsweden.org. Soft copy documents should be submitted to IM clearly labelled with the subject line 1)“Organizational Capacity Assessment" by no later than 24th September 2021 5:00 PM.
